July 5th Swingers Party (What to expect)

Hi Buzz,

My wife and I were looking at the event on the 5th but are not sure what to expect or what is expected. We are new to this and have not been to anything like this before.
Any advice or insights welcomed!

I myself have not been to a night event at the Pleasure Lounge yet, but I've been in the scene for about 3 yrs now.
Some advice I can pass on.
1. Communication. Before going you need to setup your ground rules as a couple. Do you just watch, ladies only, foreplay only, full swap? Who you want to play with, another couple, a female or a male?
2. Alcohol. Have a few drinks to steady your nerves but not to much. Getting drunk is a recipe for disaster.
3. Be sociable. Don't rely on others to have a good time. Mingle, just because you're having a chat to someone doesn't mean you are going to have sex with them.
4. No means no and it's ok to say no. Before playing you both need to be in agreement with who you are playing with. If you don't click with anyone it's ok if you don't play.

Arrive together, leave together and have fun.

Thanks Jason. youve summed it up very well.
Just to reiterate that talk about your desires fantasies and boundaries before the night.
The First time at this you will be nervous, anxious, excited and an amazing sense of a rush. Enjoy all of these emotions. Its ok to watch. theres no expectations or requirement to participate.

Thanks for the replies! It is very reassuring to read that it is a no-expectation environment. We have already spoken about our ground rules and expectations for the night and are quite excited to meet some new people and see what goes on.

Last thing though, we have registered our interest through RHP but are not sure what happens next. What is required in terms of pics or info? Do we need to have an upgraded account to proceed?

Just a couple of extra points.

On your first visit to a venue try to arrive early. This allows time for a tour of the venue and to relax and settle in before things start heating up.

Forget about anything you've seen in the movies or porn, think of it more of a night club where sex can happen. People don't just turn up, rip their clothes off, jump in a pile and go for it(most of the time anyway).

Don't forget to play safe. Always practice safe sex.
