Since starting hormone therapy, i have noticed some changes apart from the "obvious" breast growth and increase in their sensitivity (no you can't play with them), one of the other things that has happened is a drop in desire to actually partake in the act ... well ok i don't have a partner or even an outlet with a physical human being. When i finally do give in to a bit of self satisfaction the result is ...B O R I N G !

So i guess the question is, the more you use it does it work better ?
Or must i "gasp" mambo with a partner?

Seriously, this is an issue you need to disuss with your Doctor. It is quite possible that varying the dosages or changing your meds could solve the problem but it is not something to tinker with alone.

I guess the whole question boils down to whether you are going to have SRS in the future.

As you well know, I was voluntarily celibate for the best part of 5 years. Yes I was voluntarily sexless, but not voluntarily partnerless.... seems other people connect the dots of: partner = sex. The one time I did have sex (about a month before heading off to Thailand) it was boring... to the point of being frustrating that the other person was enjoying it... and there I was thinking of winning lotto and putting a contract out on my boss! blah, bland.

I was told by another post op that not "using it" was actually bad for the chances of being orgasmic after SRS Now I am three months post-op, I actually think that is a load of dingo's kidneys.

But what if you either don't want SRS, or for some reason can not have it? I think then it would be wise to do a work out occasionally , either alone or with someone. You have to exercise every other muscle in your body, why not that one? (yea I know, I know... It ain't a muscle)

At the very least keep the scrotal skin soft and plentiful by stretching and kneading.....
