Awww thanks beautiful Betty ... one day we will
All
Have to leave as sad as that will be ... I always think
Of aging as Iโ€™m totally focused on whatโ€™s happening with my body and I am far aware of the shortness of life and thinking how best to utilise my time and make plans and that type thing
Youre still so beautiful and full of life! You can always build yourself as a person at the same time as being on the job. Im so driven that i know ill be here a long time, start up all my businesses and get the quick fundings etc.

Of course its healthy to take some time off if you feel you need to focus on yourself, but I dont believe youre ever too old to escort. Theres a market for everything. Men like what they like :)

I have a habit of going hard burning out them going broke ... lol itโ€™s just a cycle I seem to run through ...

While growing as a person and losing debt and becoming a free fairy I have a limited capacity to keep a medium level ...

But we shall see all the games of life .

Thank god I donโ€™t have kids poor bastards would hate the cycle

Ive been feeling burnouts hard, but ive stopped pushing myself too hard and i just will take a step back, and have a self care period ( for me i only need a few days to myself to just be a normal person then i snap out of the burnout) and i let my body recover, and my mind recover bc i swear its mostly my mind, taking on so many different peoples issues at work and empathising too much and feeling to hard for others. Then i need to just step back and focus on myself then order gets restored.

Very wise ... good on you Katya

Or set yourself a set amount of days / hours that you work with a set amount of rest afterward and stick to it no matter what .

I think financial targets actually break us and the real reward of the job is to enjoy our time off and not be completely destroyed so we cannot have a good time in our real life ...

I suppose low overheads make that possible so each situation is different xx

Honestly so true. I can admit my goals and aspirations run me crazy sometimes and I go into over drive, work too many days and hours and just completely end up numb and dehumanised. So ive tried to just be way easier on myself. Self care is the key, and to live life to the best of your ability.

It is smart to have a exit plan from the day you enter the sex industry. For a few of us it is out total lives, but the majority it should just be a stepping stone to a better future.
Whilst in the industry you must plan and educate yourself for life after industry.
Always appreciate the $$$ even the small bookings are a big percentage of someones wage, SAVE SAVE SAVE. Try to put 20% away every week for your future.
Start a one year goal, and a 5 year goal today.

Yes & if you do that u will not have to worry as you wonโ€™t have the stress of worry about finances, while you are setting yourself up for your next adventure in life . Life is what you make it & a result of how much effort you put in. If you find something you are passionate abt for your future you will succeed, or just do a job you know you will be good at .

Personally I like to put

40% super
30% tax
30% spend . Living , travel , books etc .

At least with super I can not touch it unless suffering financial hardship xx

I think 25K per year was the most I could put in and then start again the next year .

Have you thought of re-skilling yourself? There are lots of courses out there. What are your interests? TAFE opens up so many opportunites now.
I like my skills .

My skills are in movement .

Iโ€™m practicing this as I have sex and also in my life outside Langtrees .

If not to be in the fitness industry I would quite enjoy to be a hotel cleaner as recent studies done say this career is among the fattest in general health and well being .

The continuously move the body while listening to podcasts = heaven hahaha

Fittest ! Damn auto text hahah xxx

Sometimes we also need to be stripped of everything , our wealth our health our friends our family to find the true inner being ...

This is an awesome thread, very thought provoking.

Went down that path a few years ago, from having a wife and dogs with a good job and car, to being unemployed with no career, single, homeless and broke. Wasn't for long, but so glad it was over summer so the nights weren't too cold for sleeping in a park! Some amazing life lessons out of all of that. And you're faced with the question, now that all the things that defined you are stripped away, who are you?

When people ask who you are, you say "I work in IT and live in Perth with my dog". But when all of that is gone, what's left behind?

The next 6 months was life building, not just putting food on the table but working through what it means to be human. Reading books from Darren Brown to Marcus Aurelius to Motley Crue. One of the key discoveries, and getting back to the topic, was when I changed to my 4th career. With that new grounding and base understanding of myself I could find a new line of work that fit my character.

And sure, sometimes you do a job to keep the lights on and it's just money. But whether it's a full-time role or some hobby that we're passionate about, I think it's worth the effort to find something that gels with who you are as a person, deep down inside.

Thatโ€™s an awesome outcome .

Totally get where you are coming from .

Not many humans get placed in true Survival mode anymore as we are placed into creature comforts are rarely leave that .

But in a forced situation of survival (wether financial or whatever ) we tend to thrive . That impending feeling of I have to give my everything as Iโ€™ve got nothing really brings out the best or simply breaks us .

Happy it worked out for you xxx

What an awesome thread. Thank you to everyone who has shared so much on life and the realities of it, which at times is rather harsh in the grey light of day. I agree that being stripped bare truly does force us to really look inside ourselves and assess what truly matters to us. The best thing about hitting rock bottom, is being able to re-design your life from the ground up. No bullshit. Just the things and people that actually matter โœŒ Stay strong beautiful humans x
