I watched the Exorcist the night before my year 11 exams and it really didn't help my anxious insomnia! Trying to do a english lit exam with this image of Raegan scurrying down the stairs like a spider!!!! I still passed though!
I'm a big chicken, but I like watching creepy movies. Its not usually gore that wigs me out though or zombies or gross monsters.
Scary Movies;- Let us not forget, there are evil Dolls and Clowns, evil Ghost and Monsters.
There are Giant Apes and Dinosaurs, UFO and Alien creatures.
For me the most entertaining has had a very long career of scaring kids and adults for decades.
When he first hit the Giant Screens in B/W people were frighten of the idea that nuclear power will bring-on a monster, so powerful it could wipe-out the entire planet, this monster was a metaphor of "Mother Nature"
Man kind invented nuclear power so mother nature gave birth to Godzilla who will bring back balance to the planet Earth. Long Live the King of the Monsters...……..Godzilla
The Blair Witch Project - when it first came out 20+ years ago, all the hype, I thought it was a true story. I was traumatized thinking that the parents got to see how their kids were chased down and murdered. It took me a few sleepless nights to get the movie out of my head.
