What is the most extreme example of a human being that is damaging to him/herself and others you know or come across personally. Are there people with ill intention that hurt others knowingly?

Please share. There are ways of thinking I genuinely struggle to understand.

Well that unfortunately is real and frequent although not in every case. That pattern does wash a person down a toxic spiral and devastates people that care for thay person.

Thank you for the input Col...

I would have to agree. Yet I tread carefully as traffickers and merchants of mind destroying substances and human exploiting enterprises may have an argument of how they can justify what they do.

I would love to hear their points of view.

One has to wonder if there exists people who know what they are doing is bad and do it anyway.

I think plenty of people know deep down that what they are doing is bad, but as you said, they justify it in whatever way they can to take the guilt away and vindicate themselves.

Look no further than the corporate world. I have witnessed first hand individuals who have set out to undermine their superiors or rivals to get up the next rung of the corporate ladder. These people tend to burn out and then discard their staff, they expect the staff to work long hours and weekends without extra pay and refuse or start moaning when you take annual leave. They tend to be penny pinchers except on themselves and work in groups of like minded individuals. Much better to be on the shop floor. The worst position is a Junior Manager. You get all the shit and no cream.

The guy I worked for and his group became successful and all the after hours scheming paid off. Their managers were moved on or their contract not renewed (massive golden handshake) and I walked out.

Mmmmmmmm I feel like throwing a spanner in the works........let's think about it for a moment......whatever we consider as 'bad' or as 'good ' is fabricated by 1) 2000 years of Christianity (10 commandments) and 2) by the society we live in........as rules/morals are necessary to run/control a society successfully.
'Damaging' or 'not damaging' is in the eye of the receiving person........an entirely subjective interpretation of an event. There is no such thing like objective damaging/ not damaging........at the end it is all fabricated............oh dear.....time to get off the forum for a while. :)

LOL.........grrrrrrr sorry guys.......just got carried away. ;)
