Phoebe, it can feel like that at times. That others have all the luck or a better deal etc.

What we have all received is a societal change that allows us more personal freedom to explore and become who we are inside than ever before.

The same freedom that allows women to be together (one day married with post 1950s marriage laws) allows you to dress and dress and act as you wish.

Loneliness can have us focusing on what we miss and feeling jeolous of others' bounty... We will be happier when we look for and appreciate the great things we have and work towards what we want.
