Sex reviews (actually all reviews) are about how a punter feels about a punt he has had, and are entirely subjective.
They depend on how he felt as he walked in the door, what he had for his last meal, whether his footy team just won or lost, etc.
Reviews can, and are, written by friends and supporters of WLs, and sometimes by WLs themselves under fake names.
Reviews are sometimes written be punters out for revenge for some real or perceived insult.
Reviews are also written by punters trying to be as honest as possible about an experience they have just had.
These are the reviews that make the whole exercise worthwhile.
All reviews are worthwhile as they all tell us something - either about a WL, or about the reviewer, usually about both. (Even bad publicity is better than no publicity).
But it is up to the punter to do his homework.
I read as many reviews as I can find, Most reviewers develop a reputation as being either reasonably fair. into wild fantasy, or totally unreliable.
Once I get an idea of the rep of the reviewer, I have a look at what he has said, and draw my own conclusions.
On this forum there are/have been many very reliable reviewers and I have used their reviews, together with my researched idea of what they like, and how reliable they are, to make my choices.
As a result, I have not really had a bad punt in the last five years (mind you, that only means 15 to 20 punts in total - 3 to 4 a year on average).
When I write reviews, and I have written a few considering how little I get to punt, I try to be as fair to the WL as I can, but I also feel a duty to other forum users not to mislead them.
In general, if I can't say something good about a punt, I wont say anything at all as this may be as much to do with me on the day as with her, but if I feel that she is aiming to rip punters off or doing something dangerous, then I will come on this forum to warn others.
Reviews are the life blood of sex forums - keep them rollin in !
