I am leaning so much each day and amazingly enough, I live to tell the tale, Maryanne hasn't had to throttle
me to date as I am learning a little quicker than before.
Being a baby boomer the internet is something I have struggled with for some time now but something all sex workers should be embracing. When I first started in the Industry we only had landlines and spent so much time describing our service and looks over and over, often to people that had no intention of ever making a booking, and who knows how many genuine bookings we lost because they couldn't get through on the land line.
These days everything is up there for the client to see and when he makes a call it should be to make the booking.
As a baby boomer we have seen decimal currency, metric and the internet, its a lot in one lifetime to come to terms with and get your head around. I was 10 before we even had a TV now most people have them in each room! Our tel number was 2390 and kids were not allowed to touch the TV or use the phone! How things have changed.
So what have I learnt to day............ to cut and paste and copy and paste and to know the difference, now for all you it people groaning in disbelief that i could get so excited about something that is second nature to you, just humour me please, this is a huge milestone for me and I am sure there are lots like me who are slowly coming to terms with this cyperspace gig, again we only had outer-space and that was a million miles away.
