I thought I would stop at my local tonight for a cold one on my way home from work, now you have to remember I live in a small country town,,well anyway as it turns out the skimpy clocks on and is serving drinks, she just happens to be my niece, haven't seen her for years, she nearly fell over whe she realised who I was,,,,,needless to say after a weights session I'm going back to pick her up when she knocks off and we will be having a jolly night of drinking, catching up and good times

...this didn't happen to me but I was there when it happened.

I was at a strip club in Melb one busy Sat night when in walked a group of guys who had had a few drinks under their belts. They walked in and, after stopping to have a look at the girls in various stages of undress, one bloke said to his mates "check out the tits on the blond". They all turned to have a look at this stunner when one of the guys dropped the "F" word, put down his beer and walked out. It turned out that the stripper was his daughter.....but the funny part was that this bloke's mates proceeded to dropped $200 on the table for her to put on a show for them......great mates....

Clearly, you have missed the point. If he didn't want his daughter to be working in a strip club, then he shouldn't have been in a strip club at all. Period. Every girl in the strip club was SOMEONE'S daughter.

While we don't know what happened latter in the reported events he didn't start screaming at her. Or try to drag her out etc.
I don't think too many girls would be comfortable stripping in front of daddy either, tho I am sure there are exceptions.

Personally walking out was probably the best response. At least until they have had a chance to talk about it in private.

Yeah, he dealt with the situation very diplomatically. So?? That's not what I was referring to.

To keep it on the topic, it does seem against the odds that a girl would end up stripping in the strip club that her father happens to pop into. Depending on where they both lived, etc.

Yeah, you missed the point. If he hadn't held the double standard in the first place he would never have been in that position. I think he dealt with what happened as diplomatically as possible, I am looking beyond the physical circumstances, to the double standards that were held by him that made him believe that it was ok for other girls but not for HIS daughter.

There was no mention of his feeling in the initial post, just that he walked out, which was quite diplomatic, he didn't try drag her out, nor did he get abusive or degrade her for what she was doing,,,I think this has all been taken out of context,,,I would understand your view on this Alecia if he had reacted in a negative way,,all he did was put his drink down and leave is what I am led to believe...

Also ran into a girl in the peeps at exotica who was a girl I associated with a bit in year 11/12. Had the biggest school boy crush on her as well. Was a bit ackward at the time.

One of the teaching assistants at my uni in my law class was a dancer at a club here in Perth I had several dances with her before we bumped into each other in class. Was a touch awkward but we caught up a few times after class to chat -Not sure what happened to her. Also bumped into a very senior work client at Xotica about 6 months ago - I nearly died on the spot but he found it funny - he wouldn't let me pay for a thing the rest of the night which was cool! Perth is way too small a place.
