India at some stage will be a superpower but it is several centuries behind us in the way it treats its woman. This situation is significantly worse in rural areas where "traditional" values hold strong. I know a lot of Indian people and unfortunately most of the guys are misogynistic pigs and I hate using that word. It is not unusual for Indian escorts to refuse to see Indian guys for that very reason.

SOB's also compete

Indian wheat is going to provide some serious competition for Australian wheat into price conscious markets, at least until new season Black Sea crop comes on line, at which stage he said it was likely exports from the subcontinental nation would halt.
Mr Bindra said on a like-for-like basis you could get Indian wheat $27/t cheaper than Australia’s APW grade product.

Australia can not compete in any industry due to wages, taxes, stamp duties, GST, and our over regulated work places, Taxation reform isn't going to save us, The other issue is NAFTA is over 400 million The EU is 450 Million all land based so no major shipping costs, and both of those trading blocks actually manufacture items from raw materials, Australia sends raw material out and buys the finished product back with all charges, taxes inured. The issue here is Australia is at the bottom of the heap, WE need them more than they need us, The poor man of Asia is Australia.

Until there is major reforms and major changes to work places Australia will be nothing but a nation over a barrel by every other country in the region.

There is a bit of truth in your statement Phoebe but

The CBH Group is set to execute the first shipment to the Golden Grand Flour Mill which is located at the Cigading Port in West Java, Indonesia.
Interflour has just finalised the purchase of the Mill, CBH owns half of Interflour.
The MV Yong Tai is also likely to be the largest vessel to take wheat from Western Australia to the Interflour Mills, with around 65,000 tonnes on board.
The record was previously held by the MV Ningbo Dolphin, which loaded 60,387 tonnes.
The CBH Group Chairman, Mr Wally Newman said this acquisition of Golden Grand Flour Mill moves Interflour another step towards achieving its goal of milling 10,000 tonnes daily by 2018.
“Interflour has been growing its milling capacity year-on-year and growers have seen the benefit of this growth through the Investment Rebate which returned $0.90 per tonne last year and $0.40 per tonne for the 2014-15 year,” he said.
“This newly acquired mill is strategically located to provide freight advantages with Interflour’s other mills in Malaysia and Vietnam.”
The acquisition of the Golden Grand mills brings the total number of mills that Interflour owns to eight.
“Western Australian growers and their co-operative are in a great position now, owning more of the supply chain is not only benefiting them through rebated profits but their investment in Interflour is growing in capability and reach,” he said.
The purchase was self-funded, meaning no additional equity was provided by CBH.
There you go Phoebe not only do WA Farmers grow the stuff but we grind it up and put it in little bags for our valued customers.
We will also turn that crappy Indian and Black See stuff into flour.( for a small fee )
