WeChat girls reaching out to you Is it a scam

I've noticed an increase in girls reaching out through WeChat recently - anyone else notice an increase! I'm an old suspicious bugger as I don't have a photo (well except for flipper) and use Flipper as my name and automatically assume it's a scam. In the past they have been day traders trying to get me to buy shares or cryptocurrency but a recent one seems more interested in casual chatting. Weird thing is she reached out 2 days before flying back to Beijing and is still chatting!

So anyone else out there experienced something similar? I still suspect a scam somewhere along the line so any suggestions or tips?

I have been thinking the same had 6 messages on twitter today to go look at something I just banned them. As soon as I can or Aaron reads this post we will look up the ip address so report all suspicious member here plz
Does any one remember when I played spy games on the forum about 15 years ago...gee I had some fun and only a few ever connected the dots.

Yep - have had about 6, although not for the last 4 months or so. Each time they were supposedly on their last day or so visiting Perth and so didn't have time meet, but next time in town we definitely would (ha ha). All were very personable and friendly and it wouldn't take long for the conversation to turn to investing in something. I used to tell them I was rich enough and that all of my investments were handled by someone else as I wasn't interested in that as it bored me. I would usually get a puzzled response and most would suddenly cool very quickly. I think 2 were persistent for a couple of weeks but in the end stopped communicating. I remember writing to one at the start of conversing, "let me guess, you work with investments....etc..." Ha ha she also disappeared fairly quickly! Maybe they know to stay away from me now!!
