Indeed the old adage Bigger faster stronger has been surpassed could it now be Smaller faster and flimsier
But it is all innovation I mean where are the new things now I mean people over 40? have probably seen the fastest changes in history But also the last to see really new things

And cheaper, too, in many cases H2. I bought a laser printer the other day for $139. It prints, scans, faxes, and copies.

I hated mobiles for a long time I remember my first yuppie (Probably Geraldtons only yuppie) used to waltz into the Freemasons hotel with his "Mobile" it was the size of a brick but worse still he used to lug in a ruddy great battery pack
Then await Very important calls Or make momentous calls " Excuse me thats my mobile ringing I must take this"

Wouldn't he have called it a cell phone in those days?

I have a wind up gramophone at home...it plays records @ 78rpm. Some old things are worth saving and can still give a lot of pleasure........Not unlike myself
