Underwater strip club ??

It’s like the Titanic, but it’s a strip club. Seriously. Marine biologist, Gil Koplovitz, discovered an abandoned, sub-aquatic venue in the water beneath Eilat, Israel, while working in the area. According to Koplovitz, it used to be an underwater restaurant, but apparently it closed and re-opened as a strip club called the Nyphas Show Bar. “The entrance [to the strip joint] is above water … People just crossed a 230-foot bridge and went down a flight of stairs. No need to get wet,” Koplovitz said. There’s no clue as to when the club closed its doors, but the stripper poles are still intact as is the website for the restaurant. So, definitely in this millennium. After the jump, check out a picture of the inside of the club. I think someone needs to reopen this place with real-life mermaids.

It probably closed down because it cost a bomb to build, charged too much and couldn't cover its costs.

This is a common problem with any new entertainment venue. The first person loses his shirt because it cost him too much to build the place, No.2 buys it at a discounted price from the receivers and may make a go of it or, sometimes, it is No.3 who finally comes through. In this case it looks as if it has just sunk without a trace.

This happened with the Entertainment centre years ago and was repeated by that flossy nightclub on Roe Street (Metropolis??)

Wow looks amazing.. There is a club in Wellington NZ that strippers have a pool and it does make for an interesting show.
Am loving the mermaid outfit. Always wanted to be a mermaid growing up xx

Wow that looks so cool!! Great find Dallas- looks like there were a few of us who wanted to be mermaids during childhood! Maybe they could incorporate this idea into the big Riverside drive overhaul?? At least they won't have a problem filling the mermaid positions here haha;D

I think while her performance would be limited, she probably has other special skills
