And made me wonder about a few things

1. How many look for services on Twitter?
2. Is the quality on Twitter better than elsewhere?
3. And how many have experienced the closure of their accounts?

Social media is always the best free advertising, I’m not on social media apart from talking sex. It is a shame as people should be able to use it for advertising as it saves a lot of money for workers and the best way to get noticed . As long as people use it for that purpose of punting or advertising and not being keyboard warriors towards ladies or guys. .

I have never used Twitter personally or for work purposes..

I do use Instagram and that helps with advertising so it would be getting if that got closed down.

Just to add to this, Parler is a free-speech twitter alternative recently in the news as the tech giants conspired to shut them down.

They don't have the same numbers as twitter, but it is a valid alternative if twitter is aggressively shutting down adult content.

Yeah but it's also full of White Supremacist's, COVID-19 deniers etc. Even Trump moved onto this after Twitter closed his account down.

Conversely though. So is Facebook full of some of the above plus BLM, Antifa and leftist conspiracy nutjobs as well. I have seen horrendous things on Facebook and don''t get me started on the sewer of Twitter. GAB is another alternative as well.

Even the wackjobs have a right to free speech. And sure the platform is dominated currently by that side as those are the ones being blocked/banned by the main players.

But if more mainstream folk start to see twitter for what it is and make the move, it'll normalize the audience.
