Thanks Dave, I just wanted to know some different opinions, since it is a very controversial subject. My point is that many people are afraid of labelling.... Being "bisexual", "straight", "gay", or something different (insert tabboo here) doesn't mean anything to me but having different sexual preferences. What I don't understand is the fact that some people hide their sexual preferences and avoid naming them, keeping them as a dirty secret.
I wasn't questioning the gender of women who feel like woman, but were born other way. They definitely are women! I was just trying to differentiate some how... I apologize if I sounded rude

OK. you are a man. You have a man's body and a man's desires. You know what a man likes,etc.
You like women. The way they look, the way they smell, the way they talk, the way they feel and the way they treat and react to you. However, women don't understand exactly how men feel, just the same as we don't exactly understand how women feel. That is a hard fact, no matter what we think of our prowess.

Now, imagine a situation, where you are with a person who, to all intents and purposes, is a woman. Except that she may have a penis. This woman knows what she likes, but she also knows exactly what you like. Do you start to see the attraction.

Couple this to the tragedy of our stifled repressive upbringing and the whole Transsexual experience takes on an exciting Taboo dimension.

I think that this is a subject that most people have definite ideas about. Most of us have been brought up conservatively and find it difficult, or at least a little uncomfortable when we have our perceptions challenged.

What is clear is that there is nothing to be gained by argument or abuse. That is when we all clamp up and become defensive. That is also where the logical and considered discussion ends. Unfortunately, it is also where the learning ends, along with the understanding and consideration of other peoples' feelings and individual situations.

So, might I make the suggestion that we either try to be considerate, or just live and let live, without judgement.

In my very limited experience with a couple of friends, it's how they feel inside as a person as to what gender they are and relate to. If they identify as being male or female or sometimes neither, then I respect that. It would be a little different for those working in the sex industry because, like working ladies many are chosen for a specific look or service. Many of us aren't as familiar as you to this subject. Excuse my ignorance, but I didn't know there were genetic reasons involved. The medical Gender Diversity variant you mentioned is kind of new for me. I assumed there wasn't any medical aspect differentiating transsexuals' bodies. I thought it was just a matter of sexual orientation and acquired sexual behaviours. But, I've made some research to better understand "your situation", so don't worry, I won't ask you more "personal information".
Yes, you are absolutely right; it's is way more important to deal with discrimination of transgender people than to think about getting surgery. I was just curious to know how transgender people feel about it. And, believe me, I didn't mean to offend you.
