For those of you that have to ask when looking through my profile. No, I am not a working girl. I am a receptionist and bartender. And to use the industry as an insult is vindictive. The women that are working girls are incredibly strong business women and I am proud to be there to help them with their bookings and to support the positive attitudes of the industry.
If you ever think of accusing or belittling someone because of their industry. Get the truth first and then don't even bother commenting on it.
It's thanks to the men and women of the industry that the rape culture has been lowered in Australia. It's an incredibly tough industry to work in whether you are a receptionist, driver, working lady, working male, working trans. This is a job. It's not degrading or disgusting and if you have those views you need to re-evaluate your life.
And if you're not working then don't EVER spit venom over someone's choice of profession because they are working to support themselves, their families and occasionally the misogynistic breathers. They work damn hard for their money and they are in dependant for it.
