These you just hang up on, often kids on school holiday, or drunks in groups or druggies just bored. I train my reception to hang up move on and do not let them get you upset otherwise you can't be natural & friendly with the next call. I don't allow them to even discuss amongst themselves. Like I have said above they are part of the package and impossible to get rid of, except block after the call.
It is important that you move on quickly from one of these calls...I have seen them cost $1000 or more because the receptionist upset so not in selling mode for next call.
I do not do the phones that often now days but when set up Darwin 5 years ago I worked phones for two years and only about 5% of calls were jerks.
