The war in Gaza its time we helped!

Over COVID Langtrees helped 15 families around the world to survive, It is time we did the same for the children of Gaza.
I donated $500 today through a GoFundMe plan even though I don't trust them.
I have made contact with someone on the ground, and Langtrees VIP Perth has promised to help five families at $200 per month.
Does any one else want to join me, lets come up with ideas to raise funds for the children of Gaza.

Great idea ! I already support a couple families in Palestine ❤️

Can members tell us if GoFundMe is an effective tool for raising funds for Gaza? Most of the poor families have no bank accounts in gaza so how do we get our dobnations directly to the people?

Doating to the Red Cross I think would be the most effective way of guaranteeing that most of your money collected is donated directly to the people. As with most charity organisations these days, Red Cross also take a portion of donations for administrative purposes.

From my understanding, the donations to the individual families through gofund me is transferred to crypto and than the families will have to pay/give a cut to a "middle man" to withdraw the cash..

But here are a few families I've donated to gofund me page. This is a troubling time and we as humans should support those who are facing systematic oppression, proud of the girls last night for the donations !

Should just donate to UNICEF or similar? Even if the families in war torn area's have money there is no supplies to buy? GOFUNDME could be scam account's. Rip a million people off $5 that's $5 million.

Judaism teaches that donations to charity come back to you. Donate and you'll get what you want they say. I've donated thousands and I still don't have a slim but busty root. But yeah.

Good karma will find you, sometimes it makes you wait a bit too long though!

Yeah I'm trying to stop donating until I get something back to speed things up. As long as I get a good go of a slim but busty root before I die I'll probably be satisfied?

Just be careful who you're donating to. Particularly those gofundme links. There's alot of bad actors profiteering off this. If you really want to help donate to reputable organisations like Red Cross.

first thing i think of "donate to a cause"
is
"scam"
the people that need it, rarely get it.
I think charities like UNICEF and world vision are legit. Surely you're gonna go on about administration costs but that's only like 10-15% of your donation as far as I know.

I agree. Go mainstream. There are lots of great legit charities out there. And our donations do make a difference!

That is why I offered to do as I mentioned..
Your lady friend in Ukraine sounds like a woman who is a great example of strength, courage and determination. Maybe the next member Friday drinks at Langtrees could be to collect some modest donations for her future rebuild. I'm in. Maybe share more background about her story (nothing compromising of her identity etc) more backstory will hopefully gain more traction. It's great to make a difference in a world where a difference is hard to make.

That is a lovely gesture, however she would not accept it, my offer stands with her, I have showed her pictures and youtube clips of Australia, housing, cars etc etc, I tried to sell her Australia better than Paul Hogan would of done, and she says ALL I want is to go home, and live my life in my home nation, and as I mentioned her town is destroyed, not much keeps me awake at night but her story does. I thank you for the lovely gesture but she wont ever accept it. ♥️

I can understand that. Much of Eastern and ex Soviet Europe has had to learn to be fiercely independent and self sufficient. Home is home. There is no possible substitute for one's birthplace and where the heart and memories live. I hope she realises her dreams! She and all her people deserve peace.

I privately support a child in Yemen. USA is also mass-killing in that country , especially in Sana'a city.
USA is the "axis of evil" 😭 .. everywhere. IMO
Think you may be incorrect about Yemen, US told the Houthis terrorist group to stop bombing merchant ships in the red sea, or face consequences, they kept sending missiles, so the US attacked the Houthis, seems fair enough to me. Also over about 10 years the Houthis have been in conflict with Yemen resulting by in the death of about 400,000 people. The UN Development Program estimated at the end of 2021 that the war had claimed the lives of about 377,000 Yemenis so far, with around 154,000 as a direct result of combat violence while the rest the result of hunger and preventable diseases. Of the total deaths, assessed the report, 259,000 were children under the age of five. Looks like Muslims killing Muslims, doesn't get as much coverage as israels killing Hamas Terrorists.

USA only want their oil mate , and they've been raping the place for years.
Or does the US have some heavenly right to decide who is bad and who is good ?? The baddies always live on the other side of the fence , no matter which side of the fence you're on.

Seems pretty obvious that the terrorists are bad. And any body attacking them makes the world a safer place.
