Hi everyone,

I recently just lost my virginity, but the sex didn't go too well.... During the process, I just couldnt erect fully. And to be honest, it wasnt what I expected, doesnt seem to be as good how it looks on porn. I have no problem erecting fully when watching porn, but when it came to the real stuff, I just cant erect fully! Am I sick? What should I do? Can anyone enlighten me?

No you aren't sick or anything so drastic as that. It is most probably a matter of being nervous--consciously or subconsciously, or perhaps intimidated by the need to meet your own expectations. Just try to relax and try it again with the lucky girl. As something of an aside, being a girl myself, I was nervous my first time and I almost did not get wet enough for it. I think that has to be something similar to erection problems in a guy.

No Kamishen you do NOT have anything wrong with you.... and in fact are perfectly normal.

Astrid is absolutely right.... it was all to do with nerves and uncertainty.

If you have been 'hanging out' to lose your virginity for some time now.... then you probably would have played out a scenario in your mind many times over... then when suddenly the opportunity presents itself you are overcome with fear and trepidation... and so the 'sergeant' refuses to 'stand to attention'..... It will be a totally different situation next time, I'm certain.

Just remember everyone must face their 'first time'.... and now yours id behind you you can look forward to getting more pravtice as you move along the pathway to 'perfection'.... just enjoy!

Hi kamishen,

Without wanting to cast aspersions on your character at all, I would also like to point out that the quantity of alcohol consumed for some men can affect their ability to get full erections and/or to maintain them. The same goes for certain prescription and illegal chemicals too.

I am constantly amazed at the number of men who attend Club XS (formerly LP's) and then overindulge in their personal poison of choice and then can't perform when the opportunity is presented to them. (Actually, that may be have been an overstatement, I've only known a couple of guys like that, but other women have said the same thing to me too.)

thats something that everyone learns the first time is not good at all. it take time to learn how to do it and make it as enjoyable as possible you didnt ride a wheelie your first time on a bike did you

Alcohol wouldn't be the problem, as I only drink occasionally. And neither do I do drugs. But yeah, I have heard that alcohol and drugs can cause problems.
