Have you ever paid what you felt was too much for something without realizing it only once you did you were too shy to return it and ask for something cheaper instead? I went shopping today and ended up paying nearly $15 for something that should have only cost about $2 at the most but I`m too shy to return it...

I agree with Raye. To many people get ripped off. Take a stand, don't ever be to shy to stick up for what is right :)

You girls have got it right but I do understand how you feel billybones.
I have memories and lots of them being in restaurants and receiving bad meals. I use to just put up with it but now I send it back and insist I get what I ordered and cooked the way I want it.
However I always respect the person that is serving me, smile and use good manners something so many people don't do. AND if it works out and I am treated with respect and a smile I always leave a tip xx

I certainly pay too much but generally it is always a conveniance purchase. I know i'm being ripped off but if its easy..

Is saving $10 worth the hassle of going back and returning it? If it takes 5min, sure but if you have to go out of your way i wouldnt bother

I would say once you have tucked the purchase under your arm and left the store it is too late unless the goods are faulty or, in the words of the Sale of Goods Act, "unsuitable for the purpose for which they are sold".

Write it off to experience - $13 is really cheap as "life lessons" go.

No hugs around here DD... I come from a long line of haters, where the mere thought of love or compassion or sympathy is a sure sign of weakness and must be eradicated at all cost,

Have a scrumptious day.

I always hug my female acquaintances in the sex trade because that's just customary... Everyone else has got buckleys.

Should we ever meet I'll save an extra big hug for you Miss DD.

We all get ripped off Telcos being one of the worst
I was off line and without a phone (Thank the lord for mobiles) for a fortnight very recently
Got my phone bill today About $150 higher than usual As I had to use my mobile for all calls Even the 1800 number to tell them I was offline took 20mins
Hug me Col !!

Hugs for you Mr2 at mates rates are an extra $50... Might be cheaper to give Coffee a squeeze.

I bet that bus driver in Northhampton, once you find him won't be feeling your love.

oh deer prancing in the park, telco ripoffs when will we hear the end of that one. Hellstra has been terrorizing the good people of Oz for long enough, this monster needs to be taken down. Break into pieces and sell off like pieces of unwanted puzzles and never to be put back together. *cough cough* ah look a fur ball.
