No quarantine ?
gerry1010, In my opinion the chance of getting the virus in the parlors is more likely to come from customers spreading the virus to the ladies especially if they are the popular ladies. Do you quarantine yourself before you go to a parlor, I don't. So yes it is a slight risk but I feel more sorry for the ladies who are taking the bigger risk by seeing the many different customers as they do.

Agree Snowy, and me wonder why so few AMPs have taken the step of closing for now, or how many girls may be under a bit of pressure from bosses of having to keep working when they are probably having a few second thoughts about exactly what you are saying.

Obviously the girls still working are either ignorant ,being forced into working or just don't care about their own or the customers health and welfare in my opinion
I feel it is very irresponsible of the shops still open and the girls still working with all the news and warnings around now
In saying that it is just as irresponsible of the customers seeing them too,
I really hope everyone comes out the other side of this pandemic healthy and well, but we all need to take care of our own and others mental health as well which will be a bigger killer than the virus itself in my opinion, as there will be many job losses , houses lost etc and possibly domestic violence and crime rises out of all this, as well as no outlets of frustration or pent up aggression due to most sports being stopped
We all need to take a breath and try to learn to be kinder to each other and look out for others as much as ourselves.
Remember no one has the answers because we have never seen times like this in our lifetime

Calling them ignorant or forced (particularly at TBC). Really?

There are certainly ways and means of ensuring a punter or a lady are not positive to COVID-19. Even Langtrees are testing temperatures of punters and rostered ladies alike. Punters and the ladies they attend often tread a minefield.

I sincerely hope that both parties act responsibly.

I reckon that is changing Snowy.

A lot of the more popular ladies are leaving or have left. Langtrees are testing punters and their rostered girls temperatures currently and I can see that occurring in AMPS if it has not begun to already. I think people need to just be a little more responsible, we aren’t in lockdown. If you’re sick or have a temperature you shouldn’t be visiting AMPs anyway. If the girls are sick or have a temp they shouldn’t be at work. Come on guys just coz they are a massage provider doesn’t mean they hold any more or less risk of covid19 than anyone else in a face to face customer role. Vivian runs a pretty tight ship, I doubt she would let a girl work if she was ill.

Sorry my post wasn't aimed at TBC or anyone in particular and in hindsight shouldn't have been on this thread, I still stick to what I said tho
Just taking temperature is not enough to see if you have the virus and it is now believed you can pass it on upto 5 days before you show symptoms
Its pretty hard to get a massage or FS and maintain social distance so really every punter and every girl working is playing a game of Russian Roulette, it may be ok for the younger fitter girls and punters, but that's not everyone and a lot of punters especially do not fall into the category of young and fit.
Good luck to all those still wishing to take the chances , I wonder how long it will be before someone from this forum is the next statistic?

I think you may be forgetting that the lady or the customer can be a carrier of the Virus without even knowing it, even just going for a massage is probably carrying the same risk as having extra's. Personally I'm unsure of visiting any of the parlors from today on, as it carries a greater risk for myself being a Diabetic, over 60 & on a few medications & more so that I tend to get the flu in the past 4 years or so. I'm seeing my doctor today for a regular check up so i will ask her about the risks of going to the parlors now.

Taking temperature is not a valid way of testing for this virus, let’s not add to hysteria, there’s already enough stupid people around who will be eating toilet paper very soon.
Correct, temperature is not a valid way of testing but is a valid way for identifying any virus, SARS CoV-2 is no different. We are running out of test reagent so this will need to be addressed if we want to mass test for the virus.

As a population we have to isolate the most vulnerable to protect them from the virus, it's not the virus that kills! We will have to do this until a vaccine is developed/existing vaccine is effective or the virus is washed through the population.

The duration of this is unknown, that's why people are stockpiling, perfectly normal human response. Our government should have acted way sooner to close borders and introduce quarantine measures once they knew that China had failed in stopping the spread. We had a window that could have prevented the virus from entering the community, but that has now passed.

Some people believe that the 14 day isolation rule will prevent them from getting Covid and after this they are free to re-enter the population. Self isolation for 14 days is required for people that have symptoms of corona to prevent YOU transmitting the virus to others while you are infectious. People that have tested positive and have completed the 14 day quarantine will be known as the "Golden Children Of The Earth", you are FREE!! The self isolation of the elderly and vulnerable could last for many months, possibly until a vaccine is found.

Snowy I think you already know what you have to do, how long you will have to do it is anyone's guess.

Be kind to each other, nobody is stupid, some people are just better equipped than others and its these people we need more than ever...........

Most AMPs are quiet or girls choosing not to work. Sky mentioned they closed up at 7:30pm on Thursday.

TBC was open when I passed by around 7.30 but when I passed by again about an hour later it was closed. Really should have just dropped in.

Full respect to 370 and a few girls that doing their civic duty by closing their door. My suggestion will be support them when they re-open.

Those that open during this Pandemic does not have respect to the country, the government, the medical staff, and the people in it.

Be smart and stay safe people, an hour of pleasure can put you six feet under.

By that logic you won’t have respect for supermarkets, shopping centres, hospitality staff,. We need to remember that above all else we are all in this together and some people don’t have the means to just drop everything and hole up indefinitely. Bills are still due. And until the government mandates freezing rent and bills it’s business as usual. I honestly can’t blame the girls or any business for staying open as long as they can afford it.

It's a first for TBC today, no advert up or postings on TS. I wonder if TBC is even open today. Touch wood but I wonder if they are in quarantine due being in contact with that Sydney WL girl.

Viv has skipped a couple of days lately though and the rosters have been reduced to two ladies on roster (Viv for instance is not working as much) as business falls off. TBC is certainly closing earlier. :(

Other AMP's in Hulme Court have closed it seems. I know one definitely has.

However where are the verified facts of this so called Sydney WL community spreading? There has been no community spread in WA to date PERIOD. If you are going to make an assertion then please back it with verified facts on an appropriate thread. Certainly enough of them on the forum currently!

Re-laying social media and other social media or google university generated hearsay does not serve any other purpose other than spreading falsehood, fear and sensationalism. Again the threads on forum, away from TBC's threads, are full of it.

Well with no one providing us with information all we can do is assume. Just look at the news coverage giving the bare minimum and causing the masses to panic.
Did Vivian pop on to let everyone know about the roster change, or the change in working hours through the week? Nope she just left us to our imagination, and with imagination comes assumed postings that ppl might not like.

Less girls working sure that's fine due to this outbreak, shorter hours? ( what if a customer wants to pop in later and the shop is closed), no info today just a blank page on Locanto and no postings today in TS. What are we all to think what has happened to them.

This is the reason rumours start, then they come back and wonder why ppl are saying such things. Guess ppl aren't as switched on as they have to be.
370, lollypop & Sue's put up an announcement to help ppl know their situation. This well doesn't.

Also to note what if there are no more updates on TBC for the next few days? What are we to believe then? That TBC might have shut down and didn't tell their customers? See again another possible rumour to can happen, if that scenario plays out. 3-4 day closure like Vodafone scenario you bet those other ppl will be thinking of that too.
