Talkinsex Competitions - what are the odds????

Congratulations to the 4 winners and 1 runner-up in the Talkinsex competitions.

It is interesting to note that between the 5 prize winners, they have posted a total of just 80 posts.

Bevan - Since joining the site 21 months ago has made a grand total of one single post
Cwizzar - since joining the site 6 months ago has posted a whopping 4X
mt123 - since joining 9 months ago has made 11 posts
Bravo - since joining a year ago has made 20 posts
Bungellis - since joining 11 months ago has made 43 posts

It's almost unbelievable that all the prize winners so far are 5 very infrequent posters and possibly very infrequent visitors, yet they all happened to logon to the forum just at the very time the comps started.

Actually most of them are very regular visitors and just lurked until I changed the forum rules recently.A lot of members have not joined in as they just got the fun of reading, nowadays they have to join in to view certain forums, and the $1000 comp can be won by a zero - 9 poster but they cannot collect the prize, it rolls over to the next month when the prize will be $2000
I don't think the software allows for a second draw but I will check and let you know.

I did go back and see what admin can do and I can the answer, ir someone has entered it incorrect, so when someone realizes thay have incorrect I can change to correct so at least they are in the draw.

I think it's good that people who maybe haven't been to LTs win because it gives them a chance to experience what I do and hopefully become a regular. I feel I'm already a winner just from the way I've been treated there by most of the staff and ladies. Now if I could just win powerball

Waste of time entering it already has my name on the prize. I had been a long time lurker on this board and entered the comp and then read I had to have 10 posts to collect, which started an adventure that I am enjoying.
I enjoy the forum and finding out I am not alone. Until the forum i thought my obsession with W/L was wierd

Firstly, Congratulations to Johnjohn for winning the latest competition.

I see JohnJohn to date has made 35 posts.

In fact between all the winners of all the competitions so far (6 winners), there have been a grand total of 114 posts and each winner has been a member for less than a year.

WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF THAT HAPPENING???????

Zues, Bravo collected his prize was a winner of the half price massage with Kylie and was not someone I had met before and he posted a review, Bungellis has not collected and nether has MT123 as you so rightly observed tho I communicated with them both - MT said he was travelling over seas and would get back to us at Secrets in the NY but as yet .................. They were def not ring ins if that is what you think as I had several interesting but unproductive convos with B as well as phone convo's. The prizes are still awaiting collection and from my end it was all above board let me assure you if you were entertaining any doubts. xxx

It would be a short sighted person who would suggest some form of collusion or rigging of the recents competitions....I would think that having competitions open to all members or terms & conditions that encourage greater participation in talkinsex is a plus. I am big believer in variety, so the more members getting on board & involved the better. As for lurkers or people who in the past have simply enjoyed a great read, jump on the water is fine....share, share, share & enjoy all talkinsex has to offer.

Mulder I am not sure how you verified possibly very infrequent visitors,
but maybe theres just more spectators than Happy’s, Yoda’s, and Homer’s in the competitions.

The competitions also started shortly after the need to post, which grants access to forums and threads,
a clever move by administration to get members involved as Mary-Anne K also pointed out.
