Decided on a legit massage as my bod was recovering from a big Friday night. Every place I went to was booked so decided on Comfort massage in Canningvale. Uesd my special punting card only to be told the boss lady now puts a surcharge on CC. Now is this normal?. Voiced my displeasure & proceeded for a straight massage with the very friendly Carol, who was not in the least fazed that I only wanted a massage. She is very nice so will make a return for the extras next time

This is why we scrapped the CC surcharge at Perfect Touch; it costs us less than 1.5% but it really pisses people off, especially if the charge is nowhere near what it costs. Nowadays people know what banks charge so why spoil someone's experience.

And I guess its better for to miss out on a couple dollars And have the client come back as a return customer

plus the last thing you need is a reason to say no. Times are tough, cash is short, a lot of people don't have jobs and in business you need to be aware...anyway has only been good for us, we lost over $200 per week but I think we probably made up for it with extra jobs.

Either way, we made the decision and we stand by it.

I used a credit card once at Langtrees and there was an $80 surcharge so I figured that they were trying to discourage the use of them as much as possible. It certainly worked for me but yes, I think a lot of places have CC surcharges.
