There is a case, in Brazil of all places, of a woman who developed an allergic reaction after intercourse with her boyfriend. He had consumed the nuts earlier, knowing of her allergy, washed and brushed his teeth but still she had a reaction. After testing his semen it was discovered that this is the first case of a sexually transmitted allergic relation and as yet the Brazil Nut is the only food to do this.
