Well sort of!!

Tomorrow night in my little country town they are having a "saints and sinners" fundraiser at the local pub and i have some friends coming to stay from the city and we are all going.....along with another teacher here and her husband. In this town they take these things veeeeeeery seriously and everyone has to dress up so after much cajoling in the shops this afternoon i am a playboy bunny.

Little black dress with fur on it, bunny wrist cuffs, bunny bow for the neck and bunny ears. By little black dress i mean an inch below my butt!! So with leggings it should be semi decent.....or at least pubworthy.

Eighteen months ago i would never have worn anything like this out in public, or even in the bedroom. And i am a bit worried about it now - that self conciousness about being "fat" never seems to go away. But slowly and surely i am rebuilding the rubble that became my self esteem.

So wish me luck!!

Maybe i will find a cute farm boy lol

Spunky your going to be making guys make holes in the ground from their jaw dropping.

Its hard when you cant feel like you cant be comfortable what your wearing.

But its all in good fun, and you seem so happy with your costume.
So id say enjoy yourself and have lots and lots of fun with it.

Maybe even a pic as well perhaps.

Go Spunky!! One thing about country living - they surely know how to have a party. Getting into the social life is the best way to be accepted and I am sure you will enjoy yourself.

Good god do these country boys know how to drink!! Note to self spunky, you cannot keep up so dont even try next time!! I will post a pic when i get them off my camera but it went well and i had an excellent time. Was a bi self conscious to start with but shots fixed that lol and i danced with some lovely boys (and girls) including chopper read, an extremely sexy angel, scooby doo and my very good friend the pirate wench.

Thanks for all your comments and well wishes guys, and no i havnt found a country boy yet. I will have to keep trying!

Of course the downside to drinking and partying till 5am is the shocker of a hangover i have today....blergh

So far - not to bad. I have met one guy (a farm boy) who is keen to meet up but cos its seeding time we have had to put that off for a little while. I have also been chatting online to a guy in Perth who seems really nice as well.

Apart from RSVP i have reconnected with a guy i met at xmas (who had a girlfriend then but doesn't now) and who is actually trying to get a job out this way so he can be near me. This isn't as stalkerish as it sounds cos he wants the teacher support as he will be a graduate......so i am looking forward to getting to know him a bit better.
