Actually there are a lot more acts of kindness to other people too that go unnoticed/unreported.
I was walking in a car park with a bloke from work, when he pointed to a trailer hitch which had not come fully down onto the tow ball, and was just resting on the ball. Clearly when the rig hit the first serious bump, it would detach, and the trailer would either drag on the road or roll over.
My work mate went over, put down the attached jockey wheel, wound the trailer up, then dropped it onto the tow ball properly, and then folded the jockey wheel away.
Then he turned to me and continued the conversation we had been having before he spotted the trailer problem. We walked away.
I assume the owner of the cruiser and trailer would have come out, got in his cruiser and driven away - not ever knowing the good deed done to him/her.
On many occasions I have had people tell me my car lights were still on, as I walked away from my car (auto lights douse them 20 seconds after you lock the car).
I would like to think that there are many more of these unreported, unasked, unknown good deeds being done all around us - if only we knew !
Cheers.
