You are probably right. Though scientist dare not prove you right. Use a handsfree whenever you can, putting that radioactive brick next to your ear would be a hazard. And don't play games on it, the only things I do on my Sammy are youtube and browse the net. I can't stare at it for too long though.

What are you doing when you notice these symptoms: on a call or just fiddling with apps or both?

sounds like carpel tunnel or tennis elbow symptoms...like a repetitive strain...change your hand positions frequently...but see a doctor Bepp :)

Then it's probably your hand (RSI) rather than the phone. Have it checked out if you're concerned.

OK - so here is the deal.

Years ago when cell phones/mobile devices first came out, the various health authorities determined what the maximum amount of power a phone could transmit so as not to cause health issues. I believe the number was 0.3W of radiated power.

This all worked well while we were all using the thick brick type cell phones because the phone was so thick, not much power actually got to ones head/ears/hands.

My understanding is that some modern phones (not all) still push out up to 0.3W of radiated power but because the modern phones are so much thinner and lighter then their predecessors, the radiated power may have a profound negative effect on some people. These modern phones are not as shielded as the old ones.

I believe that as the phones get thinner and lighter the amount of radiated power is supposed to be reduced by the manufacturer of the phones so as not to cause health issues.
Apparently not all manufacturers do this.

True or not???? I am not sure - but that is what I have been told.
