How much sleep do you need everyday/night?

How much do you usually get, and how little can you make do with?

What kind of sleeper are you? do you wake easily or are you comatose for the duration?

Are you a dreamer?

I'm dreaming of sleep right now...Can you tell???:p

Everyone needs different amount of sleep. However, its a balance between too much, even when you wanna laze in on those Sunday mornings and too little sleep, when the alarm goes off and you got to pull yourself out of bed for work on those cold raining mornings.

Too much sleep and you feel like shiet, too little sleep and you feel like shiet..

I think not just amount of sleep but also quality. You can have a full 8 hours but if you're having a nightmare or tossing and turning all night, you still feel like shiet. lol

When you no you have to work, you wake automatic cos its in your subconscience.. amazing when you have RDOs you cant wait and the body relaxes and stays asleep. Mine does anyway,

Not enough........more than 5 hours is a bonus.....less than 3 hours really sucks........after night shift that is. (I am not a good during the day sleeper)
If I sleep during the night 7 to 9 hours are my average.
I am a light sleeper hence I do have to wear ear plugs to shut out the city noise.
I am a restless sleeper and the poor people in my life who had the questionable honour to share a bed with me complained about having neither space nor blanket nor a restful sleep.

I have been averaging about 3 hours lately with a power nap or some meditation when ever I can. Comfort is not at its peak, but I can function at 80%.

Normally I love to sleep about 8 hours a night. Nowadays, I want to work as much as I can so I try to get at least 6 hours of sleep. If I don't sleep enough I get really cranky, haha. And I love dreaming. I know I dream most nights, but I don't always remember them in the morning...

Naughty Thoughts

I used to get 8 or 9 hours every night but lately I've been averaging only 4 hours with interruptions. Not conducive to a good days work...

4-5 hours a night if I'm lucky
Not for lack of trying but because of personal commitments (finish working around 3am, 45 min drive home, time to unwind then up at 7am for the school run)

Always been a light sleeper, hate it really!
everyone I know can sleep forever or in a chair/seat etc.
Have to have a bed :(
Up till this week have been reasonable but always broken and constant turning.
probably get around 7hrs if lucky :p
Always use ear plugs

I maybe average 4-6 hrs while im doing a few days stint at work. That first night off I find it difficult to go to sleep as early as I would like. In general my sleeping patterns are chaotic.

Sometimes I do nutty things like forgo sleep to spend time with the kids. And then I get to that crazy, silly mood, overtired but too awake to sleep...LOL

I can function ok on 4-6hrs, but for supreme awesome performance I need at least 7-8hrs.
