Skype on mobile

Any smarties out there..im trying to log on to skype on my mobile,i enter my user name then password which i never had to bfore ,i would hit the skype button n it would me straight to the page i wanted,but i log on now,and as soon as i do my mobile logs out of skype straight away....i tried it on computer and there didnt appear to b any dramas .....any one out there with any knowledge of this probl?

Maybe theres another app logging in with ur details like fb or another messenger.
Hopefully will start working again for u

Actually bepp with skype on mobile, once yiu log in, go to settings and look through. There should be a setting to stop skype from logging out as well as remembering your id and password. Microsoft are constantly changing skype to "improve it" which means that your settings can change without your knowledge or approval.

Always worth quitting all apps properly by getting them out of the memory and then do a restart. on an iPhone double tap home key to show all apps loaded and then swipe the app off the screen, on an android hold the home key and then do the same.....then restart your device..

Does anybody know if skype and hotmail are combined as im having same trouble ĺogging in to both .this happened at same time

2.telstra
3.apn settungs..no idea

You can check ur apn by going in settings, mobile networks, access point name.
Telstra uses the apn telstra.internet and telstra.wap
Try both and check if skype works.
If not, you can pick someones brains in the Whirlpool forum lol or a visit to the telstra shop

The reason I asked about the apn is bcoz my brother had trouble with cloudtv app once and his phone was set to telstra.iph apn. I changed it to telstra.internet and it started working. Something to do with the ports being blocked.
I hope u will get it fixed soon mate

Yeah? Well my mobile must b pretty slow cause the problem has only just started

Problem sorted out.ive had to register a new account with microsoft for both dkype n hotmail to continue using em...only ptoblem is cant access my mail in hotmail inbox somr contacts/photos gone damn

bepp thanks for the updated info , i installed Skype on mobile after i read your 1st post and i was not able to login either . opening a new account makes a little sense, but do you get to keep your friends from your other account ?? ;-)

No JL i had to re install them i had to ask them in FB,by pvt email for their skype names so i could contact them but like i said alls good apart from photos in hotmail
