Looking for opinions.....

Young girl 18 just wants to start to work in industry..
She has been sexual since she was 12yr... (That is the info she gave me)
Comes from a religious school (Not that it matters...)
Left school year nine.....
Still lives at home......

Is she to young to make such a big discussion that could effect her for the rest of her life......

Ms Sue...............

Hi Ms Sue,
I'm fairly new from the client side of things yet I think everyone should be judged individually not just on age, but I think generally a girl coming straight out of school should probably wait until she's 20 and have spent a couple of years outside of school before she becomes a w/l but I'll accept that I could be wrong.

Also at that age, starting her out with some clients that she is comfortable with would also be my suggestion as I'd hate to see her thrown to the wolves on a Saturday night as it were. The advice is probably better coming from an experienced w/l closer to her age group such as Jade but that's my 5c for what it's worth.

You probably also need to consider the alternatives - if you dont start her in a 'protected' environment, will she go out on the street ?

I have seen some very young girls on the streets around Vincent, and Stirling, and shudder at what happens to them without someone to look out for them (apart from their 'boyfriend'/pimp).

Many factors to consider, there is probably no 'right' or 'wrong' answer.

best of luck.

Cheers.

Only one thing to do Sue tell her to Reapply when she matriculates. although I have a strange feeling this girl is just half way through her first LT shift 4PM to 1AM.

I'd say no; but certainly hard to give a reasonable answer...

Ideally anyone wishing to start in the industry should at least have had some sort of 'balance' as in she should be happy enough to really enjoy the work - but also needs at least a partial understanding of awareness in the industry; main part being the client demographics.

For me being straight to the bottom line - 18 years old personally to me is far too young to ever be considered eligible in the industry. I'm just afraid as to whether or not she's aware of the range of demographic's out there in the real world. That plus considering the whether or not she's tolerant into working with people under the influence of alcohol, especially during the peak times of the night (which is why also another reason I wouldn't make any visits at night; bumping into fellow clients who's had tequila breath).

Perhaps it's a sure thing that she's been sexually active since 12 years old....but to me as a client; anyone who's considered themselves 'sexual' may not be enough. Clients do need mental stimuli in terms of conversational skills in highlighting her knowledge, education, experiences, goals, aspirations etc out of a working lady and from these things I do see it as starting pre-requisites.

Also one important thing about maintaining branding, ethics & exposure: Langtrees to me is be considered to be an establishment of very high regards - a gentlemen's club, as surely anyone would associate this with. If a green light is given; this may again raise a few issues that may not look good in terms of customer rep/ branding perspective.

The way I see it - the youngest anyone would ever consider to be in the industry should be 20. You would be seen as 'mature' enough to at least have acquired any prior understanding of what to expect.

But again, all we could give is our 0.02$…..I hope in the best of light that she makes the right decision.

Big question, WHY does she want to work in the industry? Is she trying to raise money to finish her education and go on to uni (good answer) or just to get things she wants NOW (bad answer).

From what I've heard, even if you're not going to pick her up, at least give her Alex Silk's details. She seems to have the ability to take young people and give them decent advice and, if they are in it for the right reasons, give them good basic training.

Definately not and its not just about the sexual stuff its the money. Earlier in my punting days I had a few appointments with girls from an east coast agency specialising in girls age 18 to 21. The 18yo hot busty blonde I met was stunning but she was just too immature for me and was totally naive about the industry and what was expected of her. Net result was nothing happened and I wasted $500. Obviously she is (still) very popular and has a massive income which for a young person can change her attitude towards money and possibly trap her for life.

I would suggest you tell her to come back in a couple of years and thats as far as you can advise her.

...lets also not forget the LTs brand name. Engaging someone this young could have a negative impact on LTs reputation.

Does this young lady have a face that comes across as a woman or a girl?
I mean if she looks younger than her years I can imagine thee will be many men after the Having sex with a minor fantasy And like Fudd said do you need to get a name for the wrong thing No matter how legal it really is

Thats a really interesting question! Smoggy put it pretty nicely. Consider where else she may go if LT turn her down. Other places may not be so discerning. But then, you dont want to take her on out simply to keep her away from the others out there.
Hard to give a call one way or the other without talking to her first and getting a gauge on how mature she is.
The hard part of me says shes an adult now and therefore able to make her own decisions so give her a shot and see what happens.

its a bit of a grey area like some of the previous posters have stated
some 18 yr olds are women and some are still girls

Hmmmm there can be a million points of views on all levels of morality and all facets of philosophy. To the one that asked the original question........consider this. When we do a good deed and make a positive change in another's life it is easily forgotten. Hell we even forget about our own good deeds. But to do the opposite whether we mean to or not creates memories that are never forgotten or in some cases forgiven. Worst of all, within ourselves.

I have a few sore points within my memories. Good deeds can dilute them. But never eliminate them.

So maybe those of us who are in position to influence someone else at their major cross roads really need to tread benevolently to the subject in an act of kindness to our future selves.

As a comparison, the minimum age for joining the Australian Defence Force is 17.

We all make decisions in life with incomplete information of the future, and we can never know how exactly it will turn out. I think the best approach is to give her as much information about the positives and negatives of working in the industry, and then to let her make her own decision. Simply telling her no you're too young will create resentment imo. If it turns out to be a mistake, at least she will know from experience, rather than from someone telling her. And then she will move on to something else on her own. The important thing is to keep the mistakes small and manageable. Be practical, don't judge.

Most definitely. The young lady has made the decision to work in this industry. I think it best for her to start out in a high class establishment, where she can be taught the ropes in a safe environment, where she can learn how to do proper health checks and she can have a good support team. There are much worse alternatives out there than starting at Langtrees.

Do new workers under go drug testing like a mine worker for example? Just to be sure that they are not doing it out of desperation to fund a drug addiction.

Would it be possible for this girl to spend a couple of nights at LT's on a late shift as a non-working visitor
When there are a few drunk blokes about Like on a Friday And let her see what she may have to deal with

P

Well sorry everyone but I would say employ her at LT. If you don't she will go somewhere else anyway. Give her the support and training she needs. As H2 said get her in one busy nights to watch. Maybe introduce her to some nice regulars to start out. Even day shiftwhen not much happens.

18 is still such a young age. If $$$ is the motivation for her then she might want to rethink her decision. I guess some education and guidance are needed for her to make an informed decision. At age 18, your still in your teen and level of matureness may not be there when dealing with events that may occur in this line of work.

Saw Tara yesterday and gotten along well with her, the sex was great. She told me I was her first client.
It was my first time at Langtrees so I did not expect anything else but just sex as I have
not had sex in a long time. No PSE or GFE but just a great straight sex and I am happy!

What does the law say - is 18 legal for the job? If so, and she applies and is qualified, aren't you risking a reverse age discrimination lawsuit by not hiring her based on age?

I can say that once you meet this lovely young Lady you can tell straight away that she is not supporting a drug habit :)

This is a very tough industry for any woman at any age hence the problems with drugs and alcohol abuse which is rife especially among young girls to numb the pain . At 18 with limited life experience it can be very difficult to understand how this experience can have a lasting affect and do permanent emotional damage. I personally think it's sad that a girl of such a young age choose this path cause frankly it;s kind of addictive... But who am i to judge ..
