After a great day today I got a message from a girl (civilian) who I don't expect to hear that much from anymore. I have given up on pursuing this girl as after years of circumstances she is geared to marry someone else. I got a message form her wanting to catch up for conversation over dinner.

Not only did I accept. But I did something that I have not done in at least 11 years. I shopped for top of the line ingredients and cooked a full meal. I grew up in a commercial kitchen and once loved doing that. I just have not done that since my early 20s. I enjoyed the process and I still got it lol.

And cooking for this girl was a pleasure. Boy she means a lot to me........ If only things were different...


If she and I was ever to be.....I would just be a tomb stone in forums .

I am almost always happy for people when they are in a good situation. Yet this young girl of 27 forced herself to be with a 62 year old man that offered to save her mother's eyesight with surgery if she came here to be with him. She has cried herself to sleep for 4 years.
