Poetry is beautiful as it allows you to express what is within your heart, which sometimes you cannot speak out. Therefore, I am creating this thread for poets and poetry lovers to gather and share. It can be your own poem or some other one that you have come across and would love to share. Poetry can be about anything, from emotions to simple things in life.

One of mine I wrote a long time ago....

Your Heart of Gold

When you have a heart of gold
It shimmers with the beauty
You have from within
But be wary
Cause there are those
Who will fool your mind
So you'll let them in
Plunder your precious heart of gold
'Til it becomes broken and cold
No longer full of love and trust
Just a heart made of stone

A Jolly Roger Journey

Come on ye matey you looking quite shady
Take a trip with the Admiral.
We'll raid Spanish ships kiss their lassies on the lips
As we burn and sink their ships all.

Sail away on me Clipper.I christened The Ripper
With a bottle of cheap rum,
Go searching for bounty kidnap the queens auntie
And just do it for fun.

We'll have it so big as we dance up a jig
With the first mate's violin,
Go to the isle of Barbados.sing songs of woes
Till the moon rises again.

So come all ye swashbucklers,and shady mucklers
Sail aeay wit da Lady Admiral Crookshank,
On a journey to Lands End.make her your friend
And with dubloons the skipper us thank.
