After numerous requests for strap on fun I thought it was time to venture into a sex store and purchase my first one. Sex stores when I was 18 were something I would embarrassingly snigger through, avoiding making eye contact with the sales staff and slink out of. Today I walked into this one with my head held high, browsing the aisles in search of the perfect strap on.
It surprised me how many there were; a whole gondola of strap ons. Leather ones, vinyl, ones built into a corset. There were some for girls, one for guys and one for guys and girls, pink ones, purple ones, big ones, small ones. Some had vibrators, some included anal and G spot stimulators. Even strapless strap ons. Gosh! Which one to buy?
Luckily as it was just starting to perplex me the friendly store assistant, who in previous years I would have avoided at all costs popped his head around and offered assistance. We discussed the various models and the pros and cons to each. Having used a strap on previously I did find them a little awkward. It was difficult to gauge how far I was in, what angle I was penetrating at, I imagine it would be much easier for men. A silicon dildo really doesn’t provide the same sensation a real life penis does. After my first strap on adventure my respect for what guys do during sex escalated.
The one I chose is a double strap one (a dildo at each end), designed for lesbians. This was my choice for three reasons
1. 1. I hoped the double end would act as on extension of my body, making it easier to use
2. It inserted into me, therefore providing me with simulation
3. The trusty sales assistant said his lesbian friend said it was the best one she had ever tried. Since I planned to use the strap on mainly in doubles, I thought this would be the one.
Now to use it.
