Greetings all,

I was recently viewing ABC IVIEW and came across an Insight episode, Sex and Disability.

It's an interesting watch if you have a spare hour....some great discussions in this important area. My hat's off to all involved, especially the fine service providers who provide these needs.

I've had a few clients in my short time with a mental or physical disability at first I was more nervous I was going to hurt them but with open communication finding out what we can and can't do its just like any other client. ๐Ÿ˜˜
That's great Amelia you have been open minded and courageous to explore this important need....my cudos to you ๐Ÿ˜˜ Have you had a chance to watch the documentary yet?

This is a great share! Thanks so much for this. I'll check it out tonight.

At Langtrees we have a number of lovely gentlemen that come and see the ladies with varying forms of disabilities.
I personally think that if your body / mind is capable, there will always be a way.

We are extremely accommodating if we know what to expect before hand. We even have clients that need to be hoisted from chair to the bed and back again and with appropriate planning it's not an issue.

Certainly this comment from you Melody confirms in my mind once again that the ladies of Langtrees are beyond awesome.

I have found in my 30 years in the industry that usually it's ladies in their 30's and over who are more comfortable offering disabled services. It was something I personally didn't offer until I was in my 30s either (but only because I took a few years away from working the floor as such).
As a SW you also need to be in the right head space and it's not something everyone can do. I always felt very emotionally fulfilled after my bookings and my clients were very happy. When I worked private I had quite a few regular disabled clients. I think of them very fondly.

I'm sure even after all this time, your clients still look back with the same amount of fondness and smiles. No doubt remembering and feeling as good as you after the session. Thanks for sharing Tania โค

How do people with physical disability have sex?
Often the same way as everyone else does. Disability come in many forms. Level of disability is different. A person could have a mild physical one or a severed spinal cord. Catering to each individual needs and treating the person with dignity and respect are equally important
