On SBS Insight tonight discussion on women's violence. The girls on here are so scary, our future s looking very grim. These girls have no empathy for anyone else in their need to hurt people with absolutely no remorse.

We are finally reaping the rewards of lack of discipline and consequences. In think it is safer to be in a lions den.

I have never seen such awful People in my life. It will be scary being an old person living in Australia.

Name them boys or girls.......it doesn't really matter. The new and modern generation obviously does not know any limits. Few months ago there was a documentary on TV about a group of youngsters (boys and girls, under 18) who terrorised area in Bunbury.......trashing cars, assaulting people in their own home etc.
I don't think it is a gender problem....it is part of a generation going mad......no sympathy no mercy........the trill of a boring life only to be found in violence and destruction.
Honestly......don't want to be a teenager now.

Yeah have to agree its not gender spercific, but just thinking these are the future nurturers without a soul which lends itself to what kind of future. Just watching girls speak and react like that was so scary because traditionally they aren't meant to be wired like that ( that's not being sexist or stereotyping, just hormonely ) which ponders how their children will turn out, it was not expe ted to see no remorse or empathy.

Speaking from a parent point of view...teenagers are so hard to control or disciplined these days, and what i have experienced as a parent, is that there is not enough support out there for parents, teachers, the police or community services to make sure that these acts are not tolerated in the community. There needs to be a united front. Because of a few that have abused the system in regards to how children are treated we have been left powerless because of all the rules and guidelines that we have to follow just to disciplined a child that is running a muk.
The system is not working and for those of us that are doing our bit to enforce what is morally right so that we have a society of young people that have respect for themselves and others, , we are becoming the criminals. This is becoming very frustrating for all involved.
Just today, i heard on the radio about a teacher that has been stood down for using force on a student. Another person explained how her young child witness another student smashing a student's face and while all this was taking place, teachers just stood by while the father of the student getting bashed screamed for anyone to help to get the student off his child. What a painful scene..
Its time as adults...regardless if your a parent, a police officer, a teacher, a youth worker or in community services... we need to step up and be the adults and stop being controlled by a system that supports youth having so much control that they are out of control...
