Heard a story about a young WL who is doing well of late.

Guess its safe to write this as she is not one that I am close to and she loathes the forum.

She set herself a target before becoming a WL and has worked obsessively reaping in the benefits as well as enduring the devastation that comes with the package.

She has now reached her target financially and finds that she is unable to stops as well as crying herself to sleep every night over the things that she allows herself to do.

Is this normal? Any insight from those who have been to this place?

What reason is she unable to stop ? is it the money ? or lack of qualifications due to doing the job for a longer period of time?
Its always good to have an exit plan, to gradually move out, rather than a sharp exit.

I have felt burn't out but still had to work due to financial needs (not wants)
and the way I handled it, was to slow down a little, I worked at hours I could handle and became
more selective about my clientele.
There is an organisation in Perth that offers support to help a worker exit and help counsel them, through
the issues.

Its not unusual to feel like this...if she can take a holiday to evaluate the whole situation, its often best.
Not knowing the details of this lady's journey, its hard to know how to respond to this post
but I can say if she's in burn out mode, its not unusual, especially if she worked flat out without taking time out.

A break can make all the difference and re-evaluating the way she works

It is sad isn't it...? I guess the only people who she may feel are her 'friends' or who understand her are the WL's.. It's easy money I guess... who knows..

I personally will not overstep my boundaries, and know when I go home at night I've kept my values and feel good.

So many other points to this topic.. good one MY.. looking forward to hearing more from the ladies :)

Some ladies go into the industry with the intention of getting over some financial difficulties or to reach a target. It is always difficult to walk away due to the attraction of money. The advice that I've given to another lady is to earn a bit more and spend that extra money on an extended holiday, go away, leave the country so that she is away from the everything...go shopping, partying, or simply bake herself on the beach...buy some time and refresh herself and after that she should have a clearer mindset to pick her path in life.
