Recent Bullying, Personal Attacks, Major Stirring & General Nastiness On Our Forum

Anyone new thinking it's okay to carry out above acts, please don't !

I have been officially told to post a warning about the nastiness and bullying going on on our Forum.
It is to stop Right Away.
I am being given higher access again (was waiting for things to be sorted in the back end (fixing glitches)so I could get them back ) and I and another will again be dealing with the ratbaggery we have been seeing.
This is not how our Forum is meant to be!!!
It's a Fun, Educational and Friendly Forum and we have every intention of it remaining that way.

If said behaviour continues there will be repercussions.

Now let's all enjoy the rest of the day, week, month, decade and century and get back to being Fun, Friendly and Informative (This does not mean we can't have differing opinions but let's be adults and let's be diplomatic.)

So could we please have some guidelines for ALL to follow as it is not much use dictating how we are expected to conduct ourselves if for example it is one set of rules for newer members & a completely different set of rules for those who have been on a lengthier period of time.
Also it would help if we all know exactly where the goal posts are as opposed to the goal posts constantly being shifted.
One last thing I am a bit unclear about - if a fellow forum member posts something completely ridiculous, illogical, irrelevant, inappropriate, obnoxious etc etc etc is it not the purpose of any forum to encourage healthy debate or will the person who logically & calmly questions the said poster continue to be ostracized & continue to have his or her posts deleted in order to not hurt the feelings of the poster who continually posts nonsense & totally irrelevant gibberish in the first instance?
I agree that the tone of the forum seems to have taken a beating in recent weeks however shirking around the actual root of the problem in order to preserve the feelings of those actually responsible for the demise of morale on Talkinsex is hardly likely to improve anything

A bit of common sense, respect and courtesy are pretty simple guidelines I try to follow.
It's not that hard ... but I am in the older age bracket.

Crimson you have had the most recent complaints and been the inspirtation for this post. its not what you say it is how you say it, reading your comments I do not find them funny, so it is your decision if you want to stay a member of the forum...I will leave it up to you, with happy pirate and Tania making the decisions, you will not last long unless you change.

Mrs L, I don't wish to be pedantic, yet what happens if the comments are generalistic in nature and not directed at an individual?

There have been ongoing misogynist and misandrist comments of a general nature. Will these be tolerated if consistently expressed by individual posters?

Why dont you man up, take it on the chin and start contributing instead of stalking & attacking other members for your own sadistic amusement.
If this simple and easy change is beyond your capabilities or willingness then could you, please, just piss off!

At risk of becoming the victim of another cyber witch hunt myself I agree with Crimson 100%. It would appear that his only crime is throwing a particular posters words right back at him/her & forcing him or her to repeatedly eat his or her own words along with a side dish of humble pie.
Surely the particular poster must accept responsibility for his or her posts & if he or she is called out would it not be expected that he or she swallow their pride suck it up & get the fuck over it?
This judge jury & executioner justice system that seems to have recently evolved appears to be very biased & the longer a forum member has been around the greater the bias.
Blind Freddy could see that this purple circle mentality is going to have an adverse affect on forum numbers & if the intention is to boost forum traffic & business thru Langtrees doors this purple circle approach will achieve exactly the opposite.
Personally I find the Crimson Idol to be witty entertaining & hilarious but having said that I agree he may go a bit far with the sarcasm & double meaning on the odd occasion.
I will end this post with some words of wisdom. Addressing the actual issue usually is far more successful than reacting to the reaction.

If this is what you want to do please go troll Facebook or some other social media, or better still learn some social skills.

You need to understand you are also on the list for your bullying too. I've been watching a few iffy members for a bit now and something needed to be done to put you back into place.
I know who you are having a bitch about and their posts have absolutely nothing on you and your buddies bullying. And again not the only reason you've come to our attention.
I have been on this Forum for a long time on this profile and had another before this.
To be 100% honest the recent behaviour of a few members is ridiculous. It will STOP.

No that is not correct he is targeting certain members and it was not done with humor, it was a clear targeting....
