punting and STIs

i believe many punters' concern is contracting STIs when having fun. obviously this can be avoided by using condoms, but is that the only safe method?

a doctor once told me that working ladies pay more attention to hygiene and you have less chance of catching a bug punting than picking someone up from a random bar.

interested to know what kind of methods you guys use to make sure you dont catch something nasty when punting.

personally i avoid professionals that provide natural services, or when an odd smell is present.

I had an experience about 6 months ago where i went to an AMP and got FS with protection of course and then 1 week later i started havint symptoms of an STI which i knew the feeling of. May have got the clap and just felt tired and sick, loss of appetite. I went to the GP. He gave me antibiotics and i did an STI test. 1 week later the results were negative and everything cleared up. Approximately 4 months later i went back to the same place. Got a CBJ from the same lady and 1 week later i got the same symptoms again but still had my appetite and was not feeling sick but had that burning sensation. Went to GP. Same antibiotics and STI check. And 1 week later again the results were negative. The GP had no idea but he said it was an infection. Ill never go back to that AMP again and had to learn my lesson twice. Very strange and now i am very put off from punting. I havent gone anywhere since then.

I never got an STI but something wasn't right. Maybe they used bad quality condoms or the lotion was dodgy as i did get a massage

sometimes it is pure luck, isn't it? honestly i have not heard anyone talking about a better method than using protection.

some say they will avoid touching the private parts without protection but where the heck is the fun?

We get checked.. ALOT I have never caught anything in this industry and this is my third year now! But be vigilant any open wounds, pimples etc.. health checks are important, even mouth ulcers etc!
Thanks for sharing Amelia. There is quite a bit to learn being new to the experience...
