Ok if this sounds like another rant, it probably is. If this thread offends anyone, million apologies in advance.
I've seen a lot of these, maybe it's just me being slow to observe. Anyway, long story short, people who drive a car with the fuel filler on the left should be able to use the fuel pump on either side. Not unless you drive a rig, 4WD, Ute etc...
When the fuel pump is on the wrong side, one would normally drive the car a tad forward and closer to the pump. This would normally work for any car upto the size of a Commodore. I've driven one before I know.
So there's this one time at a fuel station, waiting for the front car to leave so I could fill up. I saw another car waiting in the opposite direction, not able to see it fully, and not knowing what its intention was. I assume it was just waiting for the other pump as that vehicle was facing in the opposite direction too. Logic yeah?!...go with the flow? not anti-flow?
As soon as the front car went forward and having some difficulty leaving because of that car blocking the way. The car just charged forward at my car, as I was at the same time trying to move forward. I thought WTF?The driver gave me the window wiper index finger, of No no no your not getting in. She's blonde too, sorry to say. Like a tigress she charged forward with no regards. I had to reverse quickly and luckily no car was behind me. I am not sure if she has just been released from Graylands or has not used a fuel bowser for a while? It's probably both, I could've sworn insanity was on her side.
I gave her a queer look and just left the station. There's more than one fuel station in Perth I thought, this one is not anything special.
I am just befuddled as to how one could be so affixiated to the idea of one sidedness? Cum on, you can wank/masturbate with both hands, I am sure it's not that hard to fill up your car from the other side.
