I am sure many here know I am not very politically correct (Yay me) but how many say the right thing but think the opposite

I saw a cartoon in the West today that brought it home

reminded me of my own son many many moons ago

The better half said "Our son was in a fight today "And I know i am meant to be appalled
But my inner reaction was instant "Did you win?"
But I did all the crap Son you shouldnt.... but inside I was a proud dad He did win Or at least a fighting draw

Do you have a
I should say ... But I feel like saying......

I am a politically incorrectly spoken person. Having worked in several companies where most of them require employees to sit through a boring video about ethical and misconduct thingy and needing to answer questions after that. I am sitting there thinking...this would apply more to senior managements, then a cow dung pusher like me. What kind of chance would I have in bribing a foreign official and with what currency?? Rupiah? And to what would I gain from it.

Yes, there are certain issues (though not many) that are popular -- or populist -- positions which I disagree with but do not voice my opinion. I don't, however, pretend to support those issues, just avoid weighing in. It's just not worth the hassle getting into arguments with colleagues or whoever over stuff that does not directly affect me/us.

While I can agree with something's being a bit to harsh and people might need to tone back what the say sometimes. The best way I go about political correctness is telling people to harden the fuck up

Was it the article on suicidal selfies, or was there another one on Indian railways you meant to share? Anyway, it reminded me of this helpful guide for young people these days:

I recently got told of by the school after son got in a fight. He hit back and when principle told him don't do that come tell a teacher he told them Mum said if someones hits me flog them back. When she pulled me aside I told her we live in the real world and if someone hits you you hit them back harder so they don't do it again.
So my response would have be the same as yours H2

My grandmother was one of the most prim and proper women you could meet but gosh the most politically incorrect. One of her best sayings was "Put that down a China men could have peed on it" Or if you didn't like some one it was "Going to run them up a drain pipe"

What was ok 20 years ago is now a no no, we have to be so delicate in what we say because we dare not offend anyone.

I am not a timid woman in anyway I speak my mind, say what I think and if people don't like it well that's their issue.
I struggle when dealing with not so pleasant customers as there are time I just want to let fly with some very colorful language but I grit my teeth and remain polite most of the time and when I end a sentence with Have a Great Day :) then the fangs are out. I have become worse as I have got older less tolerant of people perhaps I have become a grumpy old women.

And if I am face to face with a person I don't have to open my mouth as my facial expressions are enough.
Best words every told to me was "Not everyone is going to like you"

The best form of defence is attack.... If some one hits you, give them a mighty great ass kicking, so the next time they think of hitting you, they think again....

The world we live in today is a joke.......... You are right MM I agree with you./. 10/10 post there.

The problem with "political correctness" is that it gives some people the idea that they can take advantage of you. I have no intention of allowing anyone to take advantage of me and if that means not being politically correct and offending people, I can live with that.
