A bulk billing GP for a script and then a pharmacy to fill the script... much quicker than waiting for dodgie brothers online to get here from India and safer from the quality perspective than any backyard route.

By "good chemist" I presume u mean one that looks after your interests as well as quality.
Worth noting that Chemist Warehouse has generic Vagra and Cailis and all
- at prices comparable to the best online
- with no 14 day waiting for the brown envelope to arrive and explain or
- the potential Auspost intercept for a no prescription delivery of pills IDed in the scanner en route.

Not sure about Viagra but Cialis (Tadalafil) generics are still a lot more expensive through Chemist Warehouse than overseas.
I take your point about the brown envelope though and the time it takes to get here, especially with the current situation in India.
I have a script from my Doctor because I need to take it daily for BPH (enlarged prostate) but it also has the obvious benefits as well.
I may have just been lucky but I have never been asked to supply a copy of it or been held up in customs and I have been buying them that way for the last four years.
I get mine through an Australian company and they get them from one of the largest fully accredited manufacturers in India.
I have taken genuine Cialis, Sandoz the Chemist Warehouse Generics and Tadora the overseas ones and they are all comparable.
I pay $1.90 per 20mg tablet for 100 tablets including delivery but as I said you have to wait about 4 weeks now where it used to be 2.
I cut them up to suit the daily dose my doctor prescribed.
That is still about half the price of the CW Generics currently.

I get them from here and never had a problem.
I can only speak about Cialis because that is all I have brought from them.
They are based in Australia.

Dunno why a site can have cialis so cheap. Probably counterfeit. May have active agents in them still though and that's why they "work". Like the old Bali DVD's, they work but maybe not the real thing

The reason is that Eli Lilly still has a patent in Australia because they went to court. The patent has expired overseas. They have exactly the same ingredients (Tadalafil) and are generic not counterfeit.
I have taken both and they work the same.

Tadalafil is said to be equivalent to Cialis, but is this really true? We look at customer reviews and comments to find out.

Why does 20 Panadol cost three items or more than a box of 100 Panadex, but each tablet contain the same dosage of paracetamol?
You are bypassing a lot of associated cost by buying from the manufacturer, no local rent, insurances, taxes, wages, etc.
Sure they are grey market but either over production or some corruption to run off extra tablets. It's probably easier to manufacturer the real product than try and make fake batches with unused machines lying around somewhere, considering the setup and copying of someones IP, especially for a relatively cheap product. Often companies dispose of products simply because there is a misprint on the label.
Seems to me you would fake a much more expensive medication for maximum return.
Many of these Indian phone scammers run out of legit phone companies, they just hire/rent a number of lines and computers to use within the offices, or one of the managers run it as a sideline - no need to invest in their own hardware and they can leave without having to clean up.
Not saying there aren't fakes, but it seems more likely you just won't receive any tablets.
I've had legit and OS ones and they had the same side effects, so I had no doubt they were genuine. Local ones were just too expensive to continue with, and I only took them sporadically.
Haven't bought any for a long time so couldn't recommend a store to anyone.
Your Bali DVD analogy admits they still work, so perhaps not as well but they still work.
Personally I bought low dosage ones, (read cheapest), and tried half a tablet first, to make sure they weren't toxic
, then a full tablet based on the initial dosage I got from a chemist. Some drugs require experimentation to get the right dosage, and buying locally is just too expensive for many people, especially if you don't have a partner to test with.

They still hold a patent here but allow Sandoz to sell it under licence as generic Tadalafil, but it is still not as cheap as most other countries.
It is off patent in a lot of other countries so the prices are a lot cheaper.
The pharmaceutical industry in India is huge and regulated so a lot of the generics are exactly the same formula as the original meds.
It pays to do some homework and understand where the generics are coming from.
