What happens when your past catches up to you, in the workplace of all places? How do you avoid the stress?

I guess it depends on what the past was and if your able to find a way to make a laugh from it.

That's pretty hard when it's in the work place. Hope it works out for you though and you keep smiling :)

Short answer is, you don't avoid the stress.

The best way to deal with problems is to tackle them at the time and either beat them or take your emotional beating and move on. The longer these things simmer the worse they get.

there is a time and a place for every one in their lives . the past should always stay in the past as it is governed by "time" and no one can change " Time " that is how we grow and be who we are .

Farm Boy

A number of years ago the cops rolled up to out shearing shed and arrested some shed staff but no shearers, all had to work a lot harder as the shearers just just never let up , if anything just went a bit harder while bursting into song all with a jail ,convict, or bad boy theme . hard funny bastards every one of them.

Just remember to BREATHE!!! Slow deep calm breaths.
Its just a matter of desensitising yourself, eventually that person wont even beep on your radar.
So keep it positive, remind yourself that this is a learning experience, and you'll get through it.

And if that fails, hugs are pretty good too at calming people down.
