A deliberately lit fire has damaged a former Perth brothel.

Authorities say a rubbish fire spread to Casey’s massage parlour on Edward Street in the CBD about 4.30 this morning.

The blaze has caused $10,000 to property, with police now investigating.

The establishment is currently up for sale.

Agency Bellcourt Property Group told thewest.com.au in April there had been plenty of enquiries.

“There’s been a surprising amount of interest with much of it coming from people in related types of businesses,” a representative said.
