A mother hires an escort to help her son with learning difficulties lose his virginity in a controversial British television documentary which focuses on the sex lives of people with disabilities.
The Channel 4 show, Can Have Sex, Will Have Sex, examines the sex lives of four people, each with specific disabilities.
One of them, John 26, has never had a girlfriend, which prompts his mother to hire the escort, Britain's Daily Mail reported.
Others to be featured are recently paralysed Karl, who cannot obtain an erection and Pete, who has cerebral palsy.
Peter uses his hoist to help him into every conceivable sexual position and wants to be Britain's first disabled porn star.
The fourth person is Leah, 24, who has brittle bone disease but still enjoys an adventurous sex life.
A Channel 4 spokeswoman told Britain's Daily Star: "The film explores the different ways disabled people deal with the barriers they can face in trying to fulfill that basic human need - sexual intimacy."
The documentary is described by Channel 4 as "warm, funny and extraordinary in the range and scope of access to people’s very personal stories".
Channel 4 has been criticised for airing 40 Year Old Virgins, amid complaints it came close to being voyeurism.
