Was just wondering , when one attends a swingers club anywhere in the world , is it normal to expect management to try and stop patrons swapping phone numbers or addresses to catch up in the outside world like is normal at just about any other club ie Golf , nudist , caravan , darts or just about any sort of social club at all . Do you as a swinger make friends at clubs and then meet outside for other social events . Have you as a swinger come across this rule anywhere , is it common or just an attempt by clubs to control the swinging world both at there clubs and in your private bedroom , let us know you thoughts ??? ...R.R.

a bit odd?

I can understand a club having a policy of not giving out anybody's contact details, but to prohibit members swapping numbers between themselves? Seems a bit over the top and more than a little self-serving.

Number swapping

Yes , only talking about patrons swapping numbers , addresses etc , not clubs giving out patrons details to others , dont think that is going on , a bit counter productive , but I think there maybe clubs trying to ban the swapping of details amongst patrons , and yes I see it as way over the top and impossible to control , one could just walk out on to the street and swap details before getting in there car to leave , let see them control that . I suppose they could just ban you from returning to there club , or at the very least suggest you dont frequent there establishment , but in the end woundnt the club be empty , oh well , lets hope no clubs have such impossible rules ..R.R.

And????????

Ok we are reading this very cryptic post RR
Are you speaking from experience or is this a "general" query about swinger clubs?

Hmm!!

The idea of patrons organising a meeting outside the club shouldn't ruffle anyone's feathers, in fact it would be surprising if it didn't happen. However, someone trying to collect names/addresses for a rival organisation or for personal networking may be regarded in a less favourable light.

Nothing cryptic !!

No , nothing cryptic here R&S , its a straight forward , clear question , and to clear things up NO I have not collected phone numbers or addresses for rival clubs or organisations , in fact I personally myself have never bothered to swap numbers etc ever . However yes I have been asked not to attend a certain club purely because I mixed with other patrons at a BBQ in my own time ( not a swinging event ) and it has caused me to ask the original question on my first post to see if others have encountered this problem , Oh and those at said BBQ are not welcome at the club either I think . Simply have you as a swinger mixed with club patrons outside of club times and encountered problems for doing so . Oh and dont ask me to name the club , even if you know which one it is I am not suggesting you dont go , quite the opposite , I suggest you keep going , the club is quite O.K. , just be wary of making friends and trying to meet up outside the club.....R.R.

well more fool them for doing that, even though I dont know who your talking about, but good business is one that doesn't need to worry about competition or who goes where but do their best to have patrons coming to theirs by organising great events keeping the patrons interested and being fair and honest.

When I was up at LP's I know people swapped numbers and saw each other outside the place and nothing wrong with that, they still came to the club and if not maybe only wanted a single scene type of thing.

People will lose business if they act in an unprofessional manner and to be honest RR, I find that totally unprofessional, you cant stop people making friends and catching up at any social scene, I'm sorry but that is ridiculous.

I'm also confused at what Bobbi said about the banned member. Who has been banned and was it on this forum???? I need to check that out. I hope it wasn't on the forum, because nobody should be banned for those reasons.

A business (any business) that does the right thing and is fair and honest shouldn't have to do things to control who comes and goes from their placs..

my thoughts anyway..... we should all be concentrating on making our business (whatever they may be) the best instead of worrying about what others are doing. Then it all flows in to place and things happen. LOL

now I have my facts, I am even more unimpressed.... shame!!!

I've heard that saying - what is good for the goose is supposed to be good for the gander, but I guess not in this instance, such small memories we have nowadays of our behaviours in times gone by.
