Meeting forum members - not as a client

Just wondering if anyone has met any of the forum members? I am not talking about a W/L and client I am talking about as friends. It could be two punters or a punter and a W/L or even W/L and W/L.

I met up with one of our members after a few years of chatting with him on this site. it seams we have a few things in comen and it was great to put a face to the name.

This Friday I am having lunch with another member and same again will be great to finaly catch up after online chatting .

It would be great if Langtrees could have a meet and great day or night. Some of us have been reading each others posts and PM's for a few years now.

Yes, I regularly have dinners, boat trips, and other wonderful social outings with other punters and ladies that are non transactional.

It's about the only way to sit around a table and talk openly about all sorts of stuff.

I reckon that would be the biggest punt of all meeting another member from this site. I suppose it wouldn't be hard to spot one another just look for another guy wearing a raincoat.
I'm curious though they are probably good looking nice guys like myself.

Ahoy;- Greetings from Adelaide, chances Arrrrrrr one day I will head down to Perth, spend some time and cash at Langtrees, but, if I could meet some of the Forum Lads, say over a liquid lunch;- that would be a really Cool Hoot.
Based at Adelaide, and been an old Pirate, I have meat a couple of Younger CowBoy lads(Adelaide based under 24 I think) My plan is to invite the lads to a Beer and strip club night, I think they are keen on the idea and should happen at the end of November.

Years ago, forum members used to meet on a regular basis about once a month or so. We'd meet at a pub on a Saturday nite for dinner & drinks and the swingers would eventually head off to the swingers club in Wangara (Ladies Playground I think). It was great mingling with like minded folks (I only attended the dinner & drinks) in a friendly & non-judgemental environment.......

I think that would be a great idea. To have a big get together somewhere. I have met a couple of people off here and got to know know many Wls through work, to meet more of the rest of you would be fun. Though a couple of you concern me mwahahaha (just joking). I will put it to the boss and see what she thinks.

...if I may pro-offer a suggestion Tania.....perhaps Buzz could consider having a forum member's night in the Pleasure Lounge. Open to all members (up to a certain number) with a cost to cover finger food & drinks....

Hi Fudd........what a great idea!!!!!!!!!! (lol it takes a great mind to come up with a very straight forward idea.) If members like a forum night why not having it on a regular basis in the Pleasure Lounge? Perfect venue. Let's work on it.

PB - the Pleasure Lounge already has a Melb Cup day scheduled on that date....I would suggest last Fri/Sat in Nov or 1st Fri/Sat of Dec...just a thought.

Fri and sat don't normerly work for me but can do fri or sat on the 2nd and 3 rd nov. but do what ever suits most.

I spoke to Mary-anne about it yesterday. Was looking at organising a get together early next year. There is heaps going on with Melbourne cup and everyone has end of year/christmas wind-ups. And yes it would be in the pleasure lounge.

Well as I said in the first post today I met for lunch at the Brisbane hotel with the other member. The member that I met a while back also joined us so we had the 3 stoogers. Lol. It was a great lunch and it was like we were old buddy's. was great to put that name to a face once again.

I meet my regs that have been with me from day one for social outtings. I enjoy the social get togethers plus there are always new punters joining our group which is a great way for business and social net working.

Last time was on a private yatch.... Apprently I get sea sick and well I made quite an impression with the new comers *FAIL*

I have been to several forum meet and greets in Perth.
Numbers always vary but it is interesting to meet Persona's in a real life environment.
The ones I have attended have just been at a pub for drinks and have definately not been elitist
Its a good chance for ladies to do a bit of networking.
I would suggest such an event to be completely divorced from any working environment to ensure impartiality and a degree of security for those involved.

I am with Sue.........first of December (a Saturday by the way) sounds good. Most of us will be still here. Otherwise it would be best to wait until the summer holidays. Guess a lot of the members are on summer vacation.
