The question I ask is why do some WL's believe that having little to no light in the room is the best way to go.
During my punting life there have been occasions when (may as well say) no light or 1-2 candles are on and you battling to see anything.
I understand it all has to do with setting the mood etc, but when in a hotel room and the bathroom door is ajar to let a tiny bit of light in, due to the curtains closed, I wouldn't say that is setting the mood.
