There seems to be a lot of regular contributors to this forum leaving lately.
Is this due to the fact of they don't like the changes?
They don't need the Forum/industry any more?
They want a different identity ?
Or are just over the whole thing ?
Maybe they found what they wanted from here .

I have my theories but i'm just interested to see what others think about it too

my suggestion is for you to send them all an email and ask them the same question as they are the only people who are able to answer you , honestly .

I know a few that have come back on with a new identity.

My situation was that I was compromised and a certain person(wl) was following everything I posted and was

I suspect that the dearth of reviews and the large number of advertising posts by Langtrees personnel does not help. While I recognise that it is owned and run by MaryAnne, sometimes it feels like it is just an advertising site.

Personally I still enjoy being on the site, and find a lot of interesting comment, those just looking for reviews may have gone elsewhere.

The great writings of member like Yoda have helped keep the site going for quite some time, but unless other members get involved, the site will become irrelevant.

I was quite disturbed to hear that someone was stalking members, resulting in Xtraman having to resort to a new persona.

There are some strange people around.

I think the new forum is very different to the old one. The old one was fun. I'm all for seriousness but sometimes its excessive on this one.. I get that its run by langtrees staff but imho the advertising is a little OTT.

If the langtrees girls truly want to join and actually interact then they need to take a leaf out of girls like Rochelle and Lana's book and not make every post about availability. Where did fun girls like lilly and the foxxx go?

I truely believe half the blokes on here write what they think a WL wants to hear, rather than what they actually think. Or maybe im just young but then again H2 and FB are old

Thanks for your comment, magoc. I have always treated the forum as far more than just an advertising side. I actually do enjoy the ability to discuss everything on it.......sex, politics, sports, books etc........you name it.
Has the forum changed over the years? Well I can only comment on the last 3 years. I think it comes and goes in waves depending on the mix of members and on the time they are able to put in. People come and go. There are so many different reasons why people disappear.......come back.......disappear again.........come back or stay away for good.
The Forum is something dynamic....a unique mix of longterm addicts, part time addicts and new comers. I do miss some of the "old" addicts and I do enjoy every new comer.

I think a lot more happens behind the scenes, at least this is the case for me. I have absolutely no interest in a massage or AMPs and what I spend on an average punt would draw ridicule from those that do. I pass, and am passed, a great deal of information on the private ladies however this is all done via conversations or pm's in the background of the forum. Hence there are no reviews of the private ladies out in the open.

Years ago we enjoyed writing and reading reviews on girls that charge more than a $100 and the services they excelled at. The forum didn't change because of visual or software changes, a forum is made of people and if the people change, if attitudes change, then forums change. My last three punts cost $3300, $2200 and $3300. Can you imagine the flak I would cop if I had reviewed those experiences on a forum were $150 is considered top dollar? How many of the following posts would begin with "you could fly to some third world shit hole for xxxx amount of dollars but don't drink the water."?

Over the last two weeks we have doubled the logged in users. langtrees is now advertising the forum on cracker, locanto, backpages & google ad words. These are all costing a big budget.We expect to double our membership over the next few weeks, that is the logged in members, presently 350 per day, and budget is 700 per day by the 31st of March.
To do this we have to make sure all reception staff are using the forum for advertising purposes as well as good will.
We have to remember that langtrees of Perth is supporting all the costs associated with the forum.
The good news is we should have photo albums on profiles by the end of tonight, just another cost, but I think a valuable add on.
I forgot we are also trialing a weeks add in the Canberra times, it starts tomorrow.

A lot of punters cant afford that sort of cash me included thats why there is so many reviews on the cheaper punts but good on you for doing the top punts but a review doesnt matter how much it costs is usually great reading if the experiance was worth it what otheres spend doesnt bother me in the slightest

MaryAnne, to be honest, I am one of the older ones who have recently come back. To some degree that is because of Yoda pointing out the new paint job and oil change. To some degree it is due to me starting to get back into the game, after a prolonged absence.

The industry seemed to go through a boring patch a while ago, with uninteresting ladies (to me) and inconsistent services and prices. The Golden Days of about three years ago seemed to disappear, along with Yu and Dreamlane in their heyday. The good girls became business owners, or reached their savings goal and took of to greener pastures. Even the lovely Tianna, Princess of the Clouds found a partner.

Now it is my sex life that has become a little stale and so I am returning, albeit cautiously. I am currently exploring the AMP scene, with generally good results, but hoping to find a couple of regular ladies to spend time (read money) with. I do have one absolutely gorgeous lady that I see. However I limit myself to rare visits because of the potential emotional damage.

This forum has been a great place to banter, discuss, inform and be as cheeky as possible with all other members. I am learning lots and discovering more. I have even introduced two new members within the last week; one local and one international, with visits to Perth.

Are you crying poor Maryanne? ... You are an astute and probably a hard-headed business woman. I think you are deluding yourself if you really believe that the punters have so much trust in you that they think you run this site for benevolent purposes. Maybe the naïve, but they would be in the minority.
