Foreplay remains the elusive argument of coitus both for men and women. As a WL I have made interesting observations that have surprised me somewhat.
The three foreplay basics (you know... The 'no brainers') are not as widely accepted and enjoyed as I would have thought.
Kissing seems to be the most requested and enjoyed.
50% have declined oral pleasuring on them
40% not interested in massage
Only 10% wanted oral on me, after I confirmed I only practice safe sex and would require the use of a dam.
Mutual (passionate) kissing has been a definite standout request along with affectionate touching and chatting.

As a relatively new WL I am interested in what others think about foreplay and if the no brainers aren't always yearned for.

I go to a massage parlour if I want a massage and to a brothel if I want sex and regard these as separate activities.

For a sexual encounter to be successful, ie pleasurable to me, it must also be pleasurable for my partner and for this reason, kissing, fondling, oral etc are essential in building trust leading up to the big moment. Hardly surprising. Oral with dam/rubber is pointless .Kissing a WL = possible herpes . Taking the offer of a massage eats into ones $400 p/h time rendering it a total waste of cash .My opinion, I know people all have different opinions but that's mine

How remiss of me! Nipple play is by far my favourite prelude, and can climax from just this alone given the best environment (attraction etc). I don't disagree... I am fond of the word 'possible' . A cold sore would most definitely make me decline any amount/hour
I understand that natural is always better, more sensational, but keeping my health and my clients health 100% supersedes
