As a (what i would term professional) driver for Langtrees, I am of course on the road ALOT! Now i have something that seems to be driving me bananas & that is people who insist on, when travelling on a dual carrageway coasting along in the right hand lane @ the same speed as those in the left lane... Am i just being precious or do others share my frustration in this lack of what i see as courteous behaviour by not moving over when blocking those vehicles wanting to pass them?
To be honest I feel like slapping a sign on their windsheild @ the next set of lights with the following
KEEP LEFT IT'S THE F#**ING LAW but have stopped myself as it may be misconstrued as an act of road rage!

If there doing the limmit give or take 5

Not 100% sure but I believe the standard state laws for keep left apply to 90km/h and above zones. Below that and it isn't a law, just courtesy.

On the freeway they do 95-98km/hr and sit in the R/H lane just to prevent you doing 100km/hr and continuing on your way. There are two other lanes to do whatever you wish. I'm with Dan on this one.

i will tell you why the law " keep to the left if not overtaking" was brought in . makes it easier for the speed cameras to find you and ( smile ) your on candid camera . and you receive a speeding ticket .
or are you 1 of these people who changes lanes every 100 meters in the guise of overtaking .

it's got nothing to do with speeding... its courtesy.. if you can't or won't drive at the speed limit. move over to the left for traffic that can.. and want's to...

Thanks westy you get whst im talking about seems everyone else thinks im some kind of speed demon frothing at the mouth because I cant zoom past them! Which of course is not the case just annoyed at the lack of courtesy sometimes on the road

and thats not changing anytime soon, not saying that stuff doesnt annoy me from time to time but the facr your so full of road rage over it you felt the need to post here says volumes for your lack of driving skills (driving skills involve alot more than being able to twist a wheel deftly)
people like you so raged up (possibly on drugs thats a big cause) make the roads far more unsafe than some people oblivous to the fact people want to get past

Strange you should say that Bushy. They DO sit at all sorts of speeds in the RHL. It is just courtesy and the law to move left.

I think sometimes people can just paste everyone under the same umbrella instead of taking each case individually & that can cause some distress to the writer or reader...

Bushseeker, obviously you don't know the person that you are generalising about here personally. I do. GeechyDan is one of our drivers. I have been a passenger in his car on numerous occasions. He is an excellent driver and a consummate professional and I would (and do) trust him with my life. The drivers spend a lot of time on the road, at all hours of the day and night. Our (the girls) safety is their primary concern and they ALL take that very, very seriously. To insinuate that Dan - or any of our drivers possesses "a lack of driving skills" or are
"possibly on drugs..." I find offensive in the extreme.

drivers face daily.

Of drivers on the road face the identical driving conditions to you
The vast majority just deal with it
But theres certainly a minority out there that cant deal with it and resort to such actions like posting on forums and Roadrage

Thought I would like to add to this post you had started, (now that we have sorted out that other crazy shit !!! ) and agree wholeheartedly with you about the road hogs of your above mentioned......
Yes they piss me off as well, especially as I drive down South every 4 weeks or so. Now in saying this if the speed limit is 110, and they in right lane doing that speed.....they are in their right.... I no .......I no.....courtesy and all that crap..
Remember...we live in different world now...Respect.and Courtesy, and Humanity !!!! it's like an extinct beast...a dying bred...some just don't give a shit... Maybe in Future they can clone it or something...Lol don't hold your breath.
